I'm guessing they made that deliberately.
The game is supposed to set in an utopian society where everything is clean and tidy and crime is almost non-existing. But when you rub the surface another picture starts to unravel. A society where no one is ever free.
Makes you think, don't it. Soon we might be there in real life.

Even if it does it's still cheaper to order it from Japan.

...if your going for a big screen or sits fairly close to it. You will hardly benefit from HD on a 32" with 4m of viewing distance. On the other hand. If your planing to buy a new tv to day, god luck finding one that isn't HD. You will hardly save anything buying an SD tv (if you can find one).

So I took the pictures down and resized them to 1920x1080. Guess what. They looked great. What's the point of inflating the pictures to a resolution the game won't be run at anyway?
What I want to see now is some game play movies.

Well actually "news for gamers" doesn't say it has to be gaming news. Just that it is news for gamers. Gamers aren't only interested in games (at least I'm not).

But how many wars was it before that? We had two world wars before the UN was founded. That has to count for something.

Also I don't see jacking up the visual level as very innovative. They have been doing that since computer and video games where created. I see it rather as an evolution.

I have yet to see graphics at par with movie cg on any platform.
If someone mentions Crysis go watch a real movie like e.g. Transformers. No game comes near that cg.

Did you even read the article?
Those statics only show games sold by retailers. No where in the statics can you find how good Steam is doing (and it is really doing good).

Get over to the open zone.
Could we get some moderators in here?

I'm surprised you're still allowed to post in the gamer zone.

Well take a look in society and men and women tend to have different interests. And thats because they are raised differently. Women are encouraged from a very small age to play with dolls and are told by parents and society that a girl are supposed to like stuff like clothes and makeup while boys are supposed to be interested in cars and playing "indians and cowboys".
If you are force feed with this image from the very day you are borne of course this will have an impact of ...

They said at most a third of the total power of the cell in an interview at GT. Never said anything about the RSX but we can probably be sure that there next game will be improved pretty much.
I really hope the can pull together the cinematic feeling from Uncharted. It felt almost as playing a movie.

Look at all the removed posts on the first page.
So a console sells better than another one. Big deal. I would only care if I was working on one of the companies producing these console.

How about starting there? The fact that he had access to firearms isn't a problem?
This reminds me of a piece from Eddie Izzard's show "Dress to Kill":

"There's all this National Rifle Association and everyone in America is - I mean, 13 year olds keep going out and they get hold of weapons from their grandfather's arsenal! 'I'll borrow the Howitzer, the M16 machine gun, the Uzi…' What the f-ck's the grandfather doing?! This kid down in Arkansas just helped hi...
