You don't need to upgrade your computer every time a new game comes along. There's no one forcing you to play the game at the highest settings.
Yes as long as you don't consider resolution. I exchanged my 28" CRT for an LG 42LY95 and I wouldn't want to go back.
My old 19" CRT computer screen on the other hand isn't likely to be exchanged any time soon (if it doesn't break down).
Since I'm not that picky I popped up the SVT ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... ) test picture on my HTCP and calibrated after that. They calibrate there equipment once each month to follow the D65-standard so I guess it's fairly accurate.
Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it doesn't exists. I have a lot of friends that hasn't have their 360:s RROD on them. That doesn't make the issue non existent.

P1 is nice but if you're not in desperate need of the qwerty-keyboard I would suggest taking a look at the G900. It has about the same specs but in a slimmer more convenient shell and with a faster CPU to make the OS quicker and more responsive. Also SE have made some pretty exiting improvements to the standby screen on there UIQ phones.
