The Swedish stand up comedian Magnus Betnér made a good piece in his show "Inget är heligt" (Nothing is holy) about sensitive subjects.
You have to be allowed to joke about any subject. If you stop joking about subjects just because it's sensitive to some people you can't joke about anything.

Actually they are already facing court. If they will be sentenced guilt is another question.
Game developers need to learn that localization is a part of the development process you do along side the other development, not something you tack on in the end.
As a developer on a company that makes a platform for cellphones I know one or two things about this. Every single part of our product has to be easily localizable because when the cellphone manufactures releases a phone it's world wide.
Just add filetype:torrent to your search string and Google will find it for you.

Valve = PC. Don't care if there games won't show up on PS3 since I prefer it on the PC anyway.

The only way this would improve the picture is if the ps3 has better scaling algorithms than the tv, so the result may vary depending on your tv.
And I don't get the "in the 40″ range" statement. As long as you have a tv that can handle 1080p input it should work. But if you will benefit of is another question.

And for those of you who doesn't understand the numbers, this means the resolution in the game is about 85% of 720p.
The equivalent for an SD PAL tv is:
(720 * (576 / 2) ) / (1280 * 720) = 0,225
22.5% of 720p (the vertical resolution is halved due to SD PAL tv being interlaced). Put it that way and the resolution doesn't seem so bad.
And who cares while the game is good?...

It might be a bad sketch but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be approved. Your personal taste isn't a factor in deciding whether or not to approve it. As long as it follows the rules I see no wrong in posting it.
