If the buffer algorithm is any good the movie shouldn't start before enough is buffered for the movie to play back smoothly.

They could have least gone for full-rate DTS. That's almost transparent to the uncompressed studio mix in most cases.

And even better on a full-hd projector projecting on a 77-inch screen with a viewing distance of 3m. It's awesome!

Both yes and no. DICE is owned by EA, there full name is actually EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment AB (EA DICE). They are however working pretty much independently and can do almost as they please.

Does this mean I shouldn't play it on my 77 inch projection screen?

Since you need to put down name, address and telephone number I guess fake entries will be taken care of.

Wow people in todays society really are stupid. The game clearly mocks the stereotypical view of all muslims in todays media as terrorists and the US as almighty heroes and savior of the world.
If you have played it and not understand the underlying criticism of todays one sided media coverage you are pretty daft.

"but its ok if the sound is ac3 and not DD"
Huh? AC-3 is Dolby Digital.

"Dolby Digital, or AC-3, is the common version containing up to six discrete channels of sound."

Sadly no.

I played the demo and that was enough for me to say "No thanks, I don't want more of this". Boring and repetitive sums it up nicely.

Couldn't agree more.

I got it in my regular mail inbox.

Woho! Got it too!

I have seen 1080p movies with an average bit rate of about 8 Mbps (H.264 encoded) with picture quality almost indistinguishable from the Blu-ray version.

Technically you can, but you have to go to a private tracker and download all 50 gigs.

Five times? I remember reading somewhere that it's an unlimited amount of times and on five different PS3:s (changing your harddrive would count as a different PS3).
