Hell yes. With Sakimoto gone I doubt it though :(
It belonged to Taito, then Square Enix picked it up when they bought Taito out. It flew under most people's radar, and Square still publish most Taito brands with the Taito name on them, just as Just Cause 2 still says Eidos on it.
No surprise Final Fantasy is top, but I am surprised that Star Ocean is so low. Surprised they even count Supreme Commander - I thought Chris Taylor was making something else now?
Here's hoping all those folks found other work.
Love how the Fable boxarts all have that reflection theme going on. Cool stuff. Great artwork too; wonder who their artist is.
In motion it doesn't look nearly as bad. Honest.
The title of RPG of the gen this generation certainly remains one made in the West, be it Mass Effect or Oblivion or Dragon Age or Fallout...
It's a shame, as it's a really good entry in the series. I feel FF's stock in general is in decline, though...
Believe me, it's been heavily scrutinized over the past 2 weeks. It's a far worse version of the game, but still a fantastic game. The score needs to reflect that; it's difficult, especially when performance and gameplay is almost identical on both - it's the visuals where the 360 has really suffered badly.
smh.
Despite the game being sub-HD, the 360 still outputs to capture cards and TVs at 720. The game is upscaled 570.
360 version will get a fair and balanced trial (I can reveal now the score is a bit lower though)
Always here in FF13 stories densai, always trolling. Perhaps now the game is out you can find something better to do.
Great game, great review. :D
You're in for a treat mate! For anyone wondering, we'll have an Xbox 360 review up at RPG Site tomorrow.
Might well be a justified panic, though. With Sony saying nothing, who knows?
PS3 version is definitely superior, but it's really not as bad as you make out. :)
Back to playing the game! It's pretty good, guys.
The maps in the images are pretty funny, really... they're all straight lines. Looks to be a pretty-looking guide for collectors though.
The early Rayman games were good - as time went on they got worse and worse. Rabbids go Home was a great Rayman franchise title though.
