No, that is not how it works. You have to create an environment for developers to prosper, be inspired and creative to produce a great game. Sony knows how to do that, Microsoft doesn't. So no matter how many studios they will buy, they will run them into the ground because $ is what is important to them above all and they don't undersrand that...

I played both games. TLoU is a masterpiece, no doubt. Just prefer Uncharted. If someone prefers TLoU over Uncharted, good on them.
Playstation is great that is for sure. They dominate this gen and there is a reason for that.
Been gaming on Playstation since 1997. Owned the Dreamcast and Xbox too but I always go back to Playstation.
I preffer the action adventure treasure hunting, good humor and beautiful locations. An all around positive and uplifting game that is Uncharted. As opposed to TLoU wich is depressing, with locations that are ruins, decay and rotten.
But that is just me.
It was the best for sure. Many original games. Never before seen ideas. It was a joy to game back than. Today, publishers are ruining many most games unfortunately.

That is besides the point. The game has an interesting concept so people are curious. That explains why it was the most watched game for the weekend. But that is it.
All I'm saying is what I hear people say about the game and unfortunately the word is that this game is a dissapointment.
The EA employee speaks!!! TF2 was alright. Nothing amazing. Respawn now is owned by you guys and you at EA will make sure that this SW game will be full of MTs and have a max 4 hour campaign and will be multiplayer focused. You at EA don't believe in story driven action adventure. You guys stated this. You believe in GaaS. So don't try to fool people. We know what to expect from you guys.

There are many factors you are not taking into account when it comes to the new Battlefront games.
For starters, more people than ever play video games. So comparing video game sales numbers of Star Wars games now as opposed to Star Wars games previously isn't fair.
I purchased the first Battlefront game as well because before that, we did not see a Star Wars game for years. It was a huge dissapointment. So, fool me once.......
It's not, for sure. But it sold because it was Star Wars. Dog poop will sell if it has Star Wars written on it.

It might be good for shareholders or EA but not for gamers.
We will more than likely get a game that is full of microtransactions and will have a very short story, will focus on mp.
