I've been warning people about this stuff since 2006 when I've seen NFS Carbon selling cars individually for $2.99. I kept saying that it will lead to this but everyone kept calling me an idiot and said how great that system was and devs need to make money, blah blah blah. Yeah, now look where we are. 99% of people are complete morons and can only thank themselves for this. I'm just angry that these idiots ruined my hobby.

The answer is strict control, not a ban. In Hungary, where I'm from, we can have guns. How many mass shootings do you hear that happens in Hungary? ZERO. Why? Because of very strict control of guns and educated gun owners. Yet, people still have the option to own guns and protect themselves from others who may want to do them harm.

You might want to look into knife attacks in these nations. The UK is planning on a huge ban on a ton of knife types as we speak because as these countries banned guns, knife attacks skyrocketed.

I'm willing to pay even a $1000 for a top of the line hardware in the PS4. But I know most people wouldn't so I will not get my hopes up. We will see how many TF we will be getting.
