In the case of Destiny 2, it was actually Bungie who wanted a ton of MT's not activision. They presented the idea to Activision and Activision said ok. So blame Bungie more in this case. They also said that creating content is hard for them so they turned to MT's instead to make money. Bungie belongs to mobile gaming market if that is the case. Half assed games full of MT's belong there for dummies.
That is interesting because I was blocked to play the second campaign mission because I was hunter level one. Had to grind the first campaign mission to reach hunter level 2 so I can play the second campaign mission.

What you are saying is exactly what I said. In order to play the damn 2 star mission you need to be hunter level 2. I never said anything about stamina or anything else. Just that I had to replay the first mission a few times in order to esrn hunter level 2 so I can play the next main story mission. I'm sorry but that leveling system is fucked. Ohh just stop ok? I play all sorts of games and if you knew anything about me it is that I hate microtransactions and I'm very vocal about it. Not looking for a game that holds my hand. I just don't see the appeal of MHW after playing it for about 6-7 hours.

Ohh really? And what is hunter level than? You can reach hunter level 16 in the campaign and a lot higher afterwards. In order to play 2star missions you need to be hunter lvl 2 for example.
Oh, most of the FPS and TPS games will in the future have a battle royal mode so there will be plenty to choose from in the next two years I'm sure of that.
Also, why would anyone play PUBG? The Chinese have ruined it. They constantly cheat and I'm not saying this because I have a problem with Chinese people. I don't. But the cheaters IP's were traced back and 99.9% comes from China.

It's really borring. Right in the beginning, I had to replay the first mission 5 times just to level up so I can go on the second mission. What kind of stupid design is that? The fighting feels cumbersome and slow. On the tird mission when you have to chase a lizar in the trees and it's noght time it's impossible to go aft...

I'm happy. I much much prefer an amaing single play experience than co-op. Usually when I game I want to escape from people not deal with them. Occasional co-op is fine here and there but not at the cost of the single player experience. Co-op with friends could be great on occasion as well but not always.
