Good thing I mainly game on Playstation than. But I was thinking of picking up a Xbox one x.....mainly for the 4K blu ray player but some games would be nice to play like Gears of War.
GaaS is in the future of Xbox. That is just sad.
This is good news for sure. Unfortunately rampant, boundless greed by publishers has caused this. The ESRB should be held accountable here as well as they should have seen this issue already and created a rating to accomodate this. With a huge stamp of CONTAINS GAMBLING with MONEY. And the rating should be AO for games containing microtransactions like SWBFII. That will limit the places it could be sold which will limit the ravenue of this type of game which in turn stop MT's in it's ...

Right. But some might argue that armor is cosmetic as well. Tough in Destiny it can affect gemaplay do to it's attributes. Regardless, the endless greed of Bungie has destroyed D2.
This would be nice if it came out this year. Many games could benefit from a controler like this.
As for PSVR2; hope it releases around 2020 or 2021 along the PS5 and will at least do 1080p woth 60fps but hopefully better.
That guy is an idiot who is ruining gaming as well. He just introduced that game pass BS further taking away ownership of video games from people and sheep celebrate it without a second tought.
Actually, if you look at the big picture, game developement cost has gone down as a whole. There is a very good YouTube video explaining all of this. However, more people than ever play video games and that results in huge profits for companies. So large that they make Billions with a capital B. I would be ok with $75 instead of $65 for games as long as they guarantee no MT's and no day 1 DLC, no cut content for later on DLC either.
In Destiny 2, MT's are cosmetics only yet they managed to ruin D2 with it. That's not the only issue the game has but it's the biggest or one of the biggest issues. MT's, just like you said, do not belong in video games in any shape or form. Nor does day 1 DLC.

This game had so much potential. The universe they created, the alien races....everything was there for this to be THE shooter with awesome lore. But no, greedy got the last word and it destroyed what could have been great. No wonder greed is a sin. Bungie, Acrivision, EA has proved it very well last year.

You know that gaming itself is not obligatory. We choose to game and this is a luxury hobby that is absolutely not a neccessary thing for life.
Day one DLC is BS because it's cut content from the game. If you are ok with this, that is on you. But don't try to belittle people and be a smartass because they don't like BS like this. But because people like you, we get less and less in games and more and more microtransactions.

But the Division actually has a huge following and they really improved that game. For Honor is a different story but since they brought back the Division and Rainbow Six from death, I think they want to do the same with For Honor and confident they can.
Yeah, they need to lose these two words; athelete and sport. This has nothing to do woth it. These pro gamers are probably in poor physical shape and in poor health. Sitting down playing all day is not a sport and is unhealthy.
They should be called pro gamers and that is what I call them. They take part in video game competitions or tournaments which is the proper term to describe what they do. Not sports or atheletes.
That is true, chess, poker, pool, darts.... none of these are sports.
