has a lot of history, and they barely mention any of it in the game. Only through hints in the dialog but never a straight forward explanation. I bet an average player who's played through KZ1 and KZ2 probably has no idea why they are fighting the Helgast in the first place. I mean sure those loading screens give some info, but I much rather have it brought to light in gameplay or some kind of flash back cutscene.

They thought their big budget CGI and parkour stunts alone would attract an audience. Well they thought wrong.
Their Bad Company series is marketed around the "destrubtible environment" feature. They're going to need to offer more than that for a sequel to stand out. Although they still got the upper hand with vehicles.
