Mario Galaxy is coming this year. And I think he said there is a new Mii - related channel coming.
Here are the numbers that the op got the 100% increase and 23% decrease from. I read this as:
Wii up 120,000 over 3 weeks. Only 20,000 over the last week instead of 40,000-60,000 like usual.

This GAME is selling well. I congratulate the PS3 on good sales for this game... But its hardly a far reaching trend yet. Not even selling more consoles yet.

This is just like the movie industry. Sony is MGM or something, making nothing but blockbusters. The Wii is fast becoming everything else. Oh, and the Wii isnt for a younger audience. Manhunt 2. Wider audience. Thank you.

Looks like a "here is what our guys are looking forward too" list. Regardless of whether or not YOUR pet game is on that list, '07 is going to be an awesome year.
People buy games for the consoles they own.
I know 6 people who have a Wii, 4 people who want one but cant find it, 1 person with an XBox360. Many of these people buy games on a regular basis, and there are no signs that their purchases for the Wii will be any different. The shocking thing for me is that NONE of these people owned a GameCube, so things are DEFINATELY improving for Nintendo.
I dont think there are as many people "out of the box" buying...
Would be nice, but it is wishful thinking.

Some games require quite a bit of movement (hard to golf sitting down), but games like Zelda dont. Yes you're moving a little bit, but its hardly tiring or awkward feeling.
I'd just like to point out that the title of this article is awesome.
Also, yeah, I'd guess that if the Wii had a DVD player only 5% of people would use it.

The levels are very well designed, nice variety. Effective use of "laps" and "branching" with amazing speed (the game starts slow, so play it for longer than 5 min... Kinda like Spider Man 2.) It definately isnt easy, but how hard is subjective...

Graphics matter in two ways:
1) Marketing -- There are a lot of people who rent/buy games simply by looking at the back of the box.
2) Gameplay -- Lets face it, realistic graphics enable realistic gameplay. Are photo realistic graphics a must? No, but if you make games with text only, good luck making an effective 3d platformer.
When push comes to shove: Games are making graphics BETTER than movies, and that is VERY unnecessary. Im sorry p...
Fact -- The Wii doesnt jump ahead in graphics capeabilities like the PS3 does, but it IS next gen.

I dont mean what the guy said in the article, that was truthful, but the way the article was titled shows some bias, 3/4 of the people commenting are just adding to the wii bashing fire.
An accurate title would be something like "God of War 2 Dev has mixed feelings about the Wii."
Anything for a buck. Some people go for this type of thing. If someone is making money at it, who cares?
I mean, if Wii golf, or Tiger Woods is your favorite game, for some people that means they want the strategy guide, and a fake golf end, and anything else they can get their hands on.
