The Wii will do well, but it is so different from the Xbox360 and the PS3 that it wont matter.
No actually, the numbers are just as surprising to me as they are to you. I think it may have something to do with the fact that all my friends have good PCs, and dont really feel the need to buy an HD online system.
Edit: The only reason I bothered to say that was because it brings up a good point. Look at your friends / friends of friends. How many own a wii? How many bought a 360 recently(trading doesnt count)? I dont think its hard for most of us to believe that VGCha...

The numbers for VGCharts seem to be pretty good for PS3 and Wii (the PS3 just went up from 2.1M to 2.6M (ish), which I believe to be a good estimate for initial sales in Europe). The XBox360 sales havnt moved much, which is odd... But they're not exactly flying off the shelves ATM. They seem to be reasonably accurate, something like +/- 1 Million.

I havnt played either. Saw Motorstorm in a mall, the graphics were really impressive, but the gameplay looked kinda lame. Never really had a desire to play Excite Truck, but I've heard great things about the controls. Frankly neither of these games are WORTH comparing. Why would they sell so much more in Europe than everywhere else? They've given no reason other than "hope". Ship 20 billion PS3s over there, you're not necessarily going to sell them all. If I lived in Europe I wouldnt be happy they're finally arriving, I'd be pissed it took so long.

Handhelds have been seriously dominating for a while now. I, personally, dont get it. I have one, of course, but I buy WAY fewer games for the thing. It is more like an expensive book. If you need proof that HD graphics dont matter, there is your proof.

I'd have to agree. I think the "no music" thing is only mentioned because the game is so good people feel like they have to mention anything and everything that isnt absolutely perfect. Lets face it, the difference between synthesized music and an orchestra is minimal when you're busy trying to fight monsters and solve a puzzle. 9.3 -> 9.5 maybe.
