Big deal, so the mic is $2 cheaper.
'large revelation on the Hardware level'
That could mean anything... It could mean that a game looks impressive on existing hardware.
Edit: Or plays well (driving in mario kart?)
"has some good games comming in the future, what does nintendo have comming mario galaxy? and what else??"
Off the top of my head, these are the Wii games I'm following at the moment.
-Super Mario Galaxy
-SSBB
-Metroid Prime 3
-Madden '08, fully online w/ wiimote actions (which were awesome 90% of the time in '07, and should be perfected in '08)
-FFCC:TCB
-MySims
-Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
-Proje...
A good review... Huh... I never thought the controls would be good (I just cant see using the wiimote when you're not in first person)
Angry-blogger437 strikes again.
PS3 and 360: [collective groan] Shut up Wii.
now THATS funny.
woo hoo?
Might just be "flash"... doesnt sound a whole lot easier.
I think the question isnt "does sound matter" but "do you need 2 speakers or 5"
Asking if sound matters is like asking if having a tv matters. Some people would argue that you dont HAVE to have an HD tv, but you do need a TV (And good visuals, which you dont necessarily need an HD tv for)
Nintendo deserves to be on top this time around. Sure the Wii isnt perfect, but Nintendo isn't the only company that made mistakes.
If you dont think its a good deal, dont buy one. Stop complaining.
"Note: the Wii is not actually gay. "
Almost certainly. 4-6 years likely, they'll be competing with re-released versions of the PS3.
Wow, we're all agreeing for once!
Yeah, I think hes out a little on that one. More realistically: Competition for TV / rented movies (at parties)
I have a feeling next year might bring a wave of downloadable channel software.
the wii can do EVERYTHING a gamecube can... (it even has the memory card slots)
So here are a few things the wii has that the gc doesnt:
-drastically lower power consumption
-slot loading drive
-bluetooth/wifi capeabilities
-internal flash memory
-USB ports
-SD card slot
and then there is the fact that it is 1.75x faster than a gc...
Go ahead and try to use a zapper on an lcd tv. I dare you. Try. It doesnt work.
Technology advancement has slowed lately, I dont think lack of HD is a big deal like many people believe it to be. I know lots of people who have large, expensive HD TVs but dont feel like paying for an HD signal. If Nintendo goes HD, they wont emphasize it. Wii2 maybe?
EDIT: The channels and connect24 might be a big deal in a year or two.
Wow, this is the most excited I've been about a game... Probably ever. I had a great time with the first version (I was lucky to have friends with GBAs) and I'm so glad that they're being sensible and splitting the features in the first game into two awesome games.
In other words, I agree 100%, this is looking like a must buy for Wii people.
Yeah... I'm not sure that an external HDD is their only option, a lot of people have thrown out great ideas, and who knows what nintendo is capeable of doing. That being said, they need to do SOMETHING to get extra storage.
I'm still glad they have the flash drive in that thing, and I'm still glad its small. With a hard drive you can still use connect24 because you can turn it off when the system is off, and you can hide it behind your tv or something. I still, however, thi...
