If he thought it was supposed to be a "reveal" that you were playing as the Big Boss in MGS3, he's an idiot.
LOL. It must be sad living in a world as angry as Morgan's.
I sure hope you're a little more reasonable and understanding in your offline life, but I'm guessing not.
All we were trying to tell you is that when they mention Mass Effect, it doesn't mention which version he's playing. And we agreed that it COULD mean it's on the PS3, but that it might ALSO mean he's just playing the 360 version. It's not that hard to comprehend--at least for people whose ability to util...
LOL.
Whatever man, you're ridiculous. I never said that you were absolutely wrong. I just said there are different ways of looking at that note. You just look like a complete idiot by refusing to acknowledge that it might not mean what you think it does.
You're not just "reading it as it's written." You've added an "on PS3" where it doesn't exist. If Obsidian came in and said, "Hey, we're modeling this after a Mass Effect type game," do ...
You're reading that Mass Effect thing the way YOU want to see it.
I'm a PS3 fan, and I would love to see that game on the PS3, but that statement could have just as easily meant:
"AP is supposed to be a lot like Mass Effect, but at this point it doesn't quite have the RPG feel of Mass Effect."
I'm not saying you're "wrong," I'm just saying there's alternative ways of reading that.
Good catch on that Batman.
I guess this kinda helps confirm that leak as legit even more.
I'm a Sony guy through-and-through, but if this leak is to be believed at FACE VALUE, this is a crappy move on Sony's part.
If Sony releases PS2 games to the PSN store, then they've shown that they've found a way to allow PS2 games to play on the PS3. THEREFORE, if this potential announcement doesn't ALSO include the fact that the PS3 is now fully BC again, Sony is spitting in all of our faces.
Look, I already have a BC PS3, so I don't care all that much on a persona...
Yea, you're right. You still have to pay for the wireless adapter on the 360. So that's plus $100 more.
And with that, 360 and PS3 cost the same.
$50 savings = XBL membership.
Once again Dreamcast, I really think you're delusional if you think that GT5 will suffer at all because of resources put toward GT PSP.
He definitely lost a little bit of credibility with that statement.
Yea, that's kinda what I'm thinking here.
Maybe the graphics are significantly worse? I honestly don't remember how those graphics of GT2 looked, much less how they compare to GT PSP. I assume the PSP version looks a lot better, but I just don't think you buy GT PSP for the eyecandy.
So yea, GT2 as a download would probably sell like mad for it's use on the PSP.
I, for one, would sacrifice the graphics to have a complete game. But hey, that's just me. ...
Dreamcast,
Do you honestly think GT5 has taken a hit because of GT PSP?
Of all the studios I would trust to put out a quality home console project, PD would rank right up there with Kojima and Bungie. I wouldn't worry about GT5 if I were you.
I don't like that the reviewer says the driving model "desperately needs to evolve."
Almost all GT fans, I would assume, do NOT want to see any massive overhaul of the driving. The whole point of this series is to be a simulation of the driving experience. Why change it all up?
I'm conflicted about the Gran Turismo PSP criticism.
On one hand, I want to say, "What did you people expect?" It's a portable version of GT. If you want a fully career mode, etc., then play a console version. This is meant to be a portable version of GT just to get your fix when you're on the road (No pun intended).
On the other hand, the PSP is supposed to be technologically superior to the original PSX. And UMDs hold more than a traditional CD (Which the...
wow. yay.
let's compare 2 games that aren't even out yet. and even declare a winner!
God, how are we letting slop like this slip through the contributors approval?
Between this and that ridiculous MGS Movie post, we might as well not have the approval process.
Terribly written. Piece of crap article.
For all you PS3 fans out there (A group in which I'm included): You don't need to approve every crappy article just because it happens to praise the PS3.
Morgan,
He cried to me, too. And THEN he sent the author of the article on the other site (ZXXgamingXXZ) after me too:
____________
" WTF: How is there "No news" in MGS Movie story? You crazy?
I assure you my articles have high standards.
Thanks and Kind Regards,
-ZXZ "
______________
So basically, this seems like 2 friends working together to try promote their POS article. I guess the joke'...
When you've got a cash cow, you milk that thing.
This post is a piece of sh;t and I can't believe it got approved.
Obviously some of the contributors on this site don't even read something before they give it approval.
Just like everyone who talks about Sony losing money on each PS3 system sold: You're Not Looking At The Big Picture.
This applies to Sony and Microsoft.
It DOES NOT MATTER if the system itself loses money if OVERALL, the company makes money on the purchase.
A person doesn't just purchase the system and STOP. They purchase controllers, network adapters, wireless keypads, remotes, headsets, set. Peripherals have a crazy amount of markup. For an example, Mi...
