Actually, it's "you're."
Shouldn't a "journalist" have a better grasp of the English language?
Hey look everyone,
It's that crappy website that gets their friends to approve their useless posts!
Well, that's fine. If Sony doesn't want to load up warehouses full of UMDs, that's their business.
But now instead of UMDs, their warehouses will be filled up with all the PSP Gos that no one will buy.
_____
And btw, the "giving away 3 downloads" is for Europe only. America is getting nothing whatsoever.
With this logic, you've pretty much ignored about 1000 ideas that people have had in the past few months regarding how to make such a program successful. There are PLENTY of ways to do this, and they would almost HAVE to involve sacrificing the UMD to Sony.
You TRADE-IN the UMD, and get a digital copy. You don't just get a digital for HAVING the UMD; you lose it. And hence, you cannot just return it (rent).
I'm not gonna rehash the ways this could work--that takes to...
Haha, fair enough. I guess I just wanted full disclosure in that i've been a Sony-only kind of guy since about '97.
But I suppose the title of "fanboy" requires blind faith even in the face of flaws. And the PSPGO is such a flaw.
I just think that logic by Sony is just RIDICULOUSLY flawed.
If someone has not wanted a PSP before now, they are certainly not going to drop $250 on this. I really think the only shot Sony had at selling a decent amount of these PSPGOs would be for their MOST HARDCORE fans to buy another PSP.
But since they don't care about UMD conversion, and they've ALSO alluded to the fact that not ALL future games will be available digitally, they're really shooting themselves i...
Terrible move by Sony. I'm a self-proclaimed Sony Fanboy, and this is just absurd. This thing is doomed before it's even released.
Even MORE troubling is this line from a similar article on Gamespot:
http://www.gamespot.com/new...
" As for future games, SCEA hardware marketing director John Koller told GameSpot that after October 1, his company will try ...
Even their own fans are tired of it:

We (ps3 fans) are obviously with it enough to say that Forza is probably going to be a great game. But unless you've experienced Gran Turismo, you just "don't get it."
Since it's inception, Gran Turismo has had a close relationship with both racing enthusiasts & the auto industry, working together to ensure a quality product. To understand how close this is, you really need to see some of that behind-the-scenes GT footage.
Forza will undoubtedly be fun. ...
Yup:

You don't see PD/Yamauchi feeling the need to constantly bash the competition. Why not? Because they actually have confidence in their product.
a) Considering that it's debatable if Forza 3 is even better than GT5P, this statement is ridiculous
b) By constantly using phrases like "on the market now," Turn 10 is essentially admitting inferiority to the future release of GT5. The fact that they feel the need to add the on-the-market qualifier is telling.
c) Why does Turn 10 have the constant need to denigrate the competition? They have been RIDICULOUSLY vocal about their "superior" product ...
I'm not really looking forward to the "what the hell" moment, but hey--it's ND's series.
I didn't like the twist in the first one...mainly because up to that point it had seemed like the game was completely steeped in a realistic story.
But now that ND has established a minor supernatural aura to the series, they might as well run with it.
All the GT5 community stuff looks sa-weet. I'd love to see selling cars/post-tune up a la Forza (Don't get mad at me, I'm a ps3 fanboy lol) because I think that's pretty cool, but overall:
I CANNOT WAIT FOR GRAN TURISMO 5
I have no doubt that GT5 will be a better RACING game, but a lot of the Forza community stuff is pretty cool.
I really like the idea of being able to sell cars after tuning them up (For people like me that don't really know anything about turning cars).
It just has a much more cohesive online feel community feel to it than just sharing races on youtube (which is still cool, btw).
I read this, and can't help but wonder:
Why the hell does anyone care what Trent Reznor thinks videogames?
I love the music. Don't care about his game prefs.
hahaha
revenge of the nerds homie
Wow. This is just ridiculous.
Microsoft = The Suck.
Not really something I'm interested in myself, but I suppose it's nice to see EA trying to add different things to the mix.
Even if they charge for it.
Lowering expectations to meet expectations does not influence being in the red or black.
"Just each content."
When we can't even get the author to fix a glaring typo in the title before we approve the article, you know the community of N4G is going down the crapper.
Does anyone know of a site similar to N4G but not as, you know, retarded?
