Perfect game to add to the Gamepass and help out in the Japanese market where the Xbox brand is slowly growing. It might even pick up a few more players in the west, but I see this more for Japan then anything else.
With that tech, if it comes in below $499 I will be surprised!!
Sony is like the Bitch bully of the schoolyard. They are happy when things go their way, but as soon as they get a bloody nose they go crying to the teacher. If Sony was as good as you all claimed then they would have bought them too. For the longest time on here, it was COD has been turning out trash, the SP is just an afterthought, yadda yadda. Now all of a sudden it's all doom and gloom.

@neonridr. Right if is MS the evil empire that Sony fans claim to be then they should go full DR. Evil with their purchases and keep all the IPs on Xbox and PC. Give everyone a chance to switch to their service in a couple years then shut down those servers outside of their networks.

This game is going to be a time suck. Glad I picked it up on console, but would have been fun on Steam as well. Would have liked the choice to be able to save at any point during the tutorial and come back to it. There is a lot going on and sometimes you gotta step away for a bit to do something else and can't finish in one sitting!
Correction, Chances are I will not finish a longer game that is 30 hours plus.
AA or AAA is still a first-day buy regardless if I have Game Pass. It's Horror and a total homage to Geiger in the art style. Totally will be played at night, with the lights out with Dolby Atmos (Assuming it has that option, if not I'll have the receiver simulate). I'll take 6-8 hours no problem. I don't always need a game lasting 30 hours or longer. Chances are I'll never finish it since I'm moving on to something else anyways. To many games and systems to play...
I think a year after release is the sweet spot. It hits the obvious days that someone may get it on. Day 1 release, their Birthday, and Christmas. Anytime after is a crapshoot or a sale price. Now the question is does it really take them that long to port it over? If they don't have a team working on the PC version at the same time I can see it taking a bit, but not two years' worth.
Your talking about a game with a Very linear story line. Skyrim on the other hand was huge! Excellent soundtrack, One of the best modded games ever. So much too explore and side quests for months.
This sounds likes a MS move and would be bashed at the mention of "live service game". Since they are signing with Sony I see the goal posts are set in sand and easily shifted with the amount of praise this is getting.

You are just a little late on the Bethesda deal Curtain... You may as well close the curtain on it. You can try again on Activision, but It's going to go through without a hitch as well. Look at Embracer group with it's 76 studios in 45 countries.. No one complained about it when picked up Crystal Dynamics and Squire/Eidos Montreal. Now if MS buys out Embracer then that may be a different story. Hell I could see them acquiring EA and it still would not be a problem.
@RedDevils and VenomCarnage89 Jesus, you would think no one has ever used GameFly or BlockBuster to rent games back in the day. That sure didn't hurt the developer's anything and I'm sure as shit knowing they didn't give anything to them either.
It's meant to be an online fighter. The campaign is something they added. The game itself is actually pretty fun online. I was hesitant to play it, but gave it a shot and have been enjoying it. The fighting is fun and fairly easy to pick up and play, especially if you an elite controller and can use the paddles on the bottom to attack with.
It didn't cost anything to play. It's Diablo so people buy a costume pack or the season pass. No harm in that. That's what I did for my Necro. Will I buy a skin for each class? Most likely not. If have a bigger if I paid for the game then the MTX.
@Tedakin. I'm not concerned about how long I get out of a game, but the quality experience of a game. I'm perfectly content with a 10 hour game if the quality is high. I have games that I'll sink a hundred hours into and those are various MMO or MP games
It's too bad there's a good chance if your not using the right power supply adapter you will over draw and have your cables catch on fire. Skipping the 40 series for now. Now then happy with my 3090.
