It's on Gamepass so it's going to be a no brainer to play for those of us have it. As for the always online and servers behind disconnected in the future. I'll take my chances since but the time that happens I will have moved in from that game anyways or a sequel will have come out. It's not like every game is worth replaying
Outlaw tennis?
Bro,
If someone is having issues where they can't keep their internet up because of money problems then they have bigger issues. They may want to focus on something else then gaming for a bit to get things squared away then get back to gaming.
It’s fun, but game of the year I’m not so sure of that. It’s a very pleasant surprise of a game. I’d rate it at about 80%.. The re-playability is high for me on this one since you can go back and get a higher beat score and get better rankings.
The graphics do look very good as well.
@redgum name a VR headset that when it first came out it was backwards compatible that was Gen 1? I can understand the inside out tracking part of why the games would not be compatible, but the fact they are stating the controllers and the audio are making it so is complete BS. They should be able to add options to disable those features especially for the controllers..
Makes me glad I sat out PSVR and just stuck with VR on PC. I’m way more curious on PSVR2 since the tec...
This Game is best played with a chair that rocks and swivels easily. It adds to the realism even more. One of my favorites on the Vive, and my new one to introduce people VR to.
Need to find those books.
WTF? Demos are the perfect way to get you to buy a game. If two games come out and one has a Demo and the other doesn't. I try the one game with a demo first and see if I like it. If I do, then it's a purchase. The one without a demo takes await and see until more reviews come in, or it goes on sale.
Hell, I don't mind doing Early Access games since you get in at a low cost and early Development and see the game change. Sure it can frustrating to have you...
@crows90
It makes sense if you want to run it higher than 4k@60 with all the bells and whistles turned up on PC.
Guessing this game will not be optimized very well for PC. I'll be waiting for reviews on this game before I get it on PC.
I'm fine with how MS showed a video early. They never stated any date. It was just an announcement trailer that it was coming. That was good enough for me. Time wasn't built in a day!
Of course Beat Saber is. I can't think of very many major VR platforms it's not on.
Square Enix is shooting itself in the foot with their insistence on using NFT. If they keep going down that road and want to use them in their games then Sony is welcome to them.
I bet the Steam Hardware survey results would have some info on that. I put two in my new PC I built then moved all the old drives over (SSDs, and a mechanical).
Just one more run.....
I wouldn't worry about sales numbers for this. As long as Sony supports it moving forward it should be a good investment. It's one hell of a VR setup at that price. If Sony supports it with PSVI and makes the games avaible as well then it's got a great future.
Did Sony mention the price of the games on it? Most VR games are smaller so hopefully the price reflects that on the games as well.
I need to configure mine for duel booting for
xcloud. I have a 2TB micro SD card for that reason. My only wish is that steam would have made the back buttons assigned as a, b, x, and y by default and not unassigned for games.
Just like any single player game I'll play. I'll play it for so long then move back to multiplayer for COD. I hate being taken away from MP games for long periods of time since it has my progession and effects my skills coming back.
Plus I'm totally ADHD on games. There is always something else to play and or try (the curse of owning PC, Xbox, Nitendo, and PS5. For me it's not about completing the games but having fun playing them.
@Nyxus. You sit there install COD from the disc onto your console SSD on day1. Finally ready to play. Fire it up and bam! 40GB update. Then you have to wait for that to download and install as well.
I’ve been PC gaming for a very long time and ditched physical so long ago. Finally glad Consoles are embracing Digital finally (late to the party). It’s nice to have the game pre-loaded and updated by it on day when I go to play. There are very few games that don’t require...
Playing right now on Fidelity with Ray tracing on the Series X. Just finished the Charms class. Perry smooth experience so far. Story line has been good and the graphics have exceeded expectations. I'm curious how the PS5 does on the loading for the game. There is some loading on the Series X version on location transitions.
The create a character could have been a little more robust. Would have nice for a name generator. Learning the new spells on normal had bee...
