Speaking of Acclaim...how f-ing good was Extreme G on N64!?
Such a sad day for PC gaming. Previously we were free from the pointless peripheral marketing scam.

*sigh*
I'll take a gamepad or mouse over...
I sunk about 110hrs into Final Fantasy XII by the time I beat it. It was worth every second. I can't remember the names of the 2 awesome swords I got for beating the secret bosses etc but it was truly an epic experience.
Most kids these days do...hence why they need a virtual pat on the back every 5 seconds with a skill shot popping up on screen and achievements for all sorts of pointless %$!+.
Well deserved. SR3 was my first foray into the saints world and I absolutely loved every second of it. I played it through again immediately after finishing.
I enjoyed it more than Just Cause 2 ( which I also loved ) and far more than GTA IV which I loathed.
Can't wait for SR4 which has already been announced as being in the planning stages.
At 30 frames all games are laggy.

Be sure to purchase some nice DLC horse armour for it.
Yes they do, and that is a bad thing. I gather from your previous comment and this one that what you are suggesting is that because other games have bugs that it should be an accepted standard?
Get some standards yourself and stop buying games that don't work properly and just like magic... developers will stop releasing broken games. It's because of people like you we have games in need of a day 1 patch.
They STILL haven't fixed Oblivion or Fallout 3 on PC or PS3. ( not sure about 360 it could be the same ).
I wouldn't have high hopes for post game support.
I've beaten the game twice and I've never even fired a weapon. You also can't carry a weapon while running around so at best even if you did want to shoot...you would be able to use it for a whole 3 seconds before having to toss it aside to progress.
It's also not a 'military shooter'.
@theonlylolking
You mean the linear game that looks like this:
http://img841.imageshack.us...
Yeah it clearly didn't suffer at all... /s
But the fact that it exists already means that it has effected the single player experience. Any money or time they spend on the MP is additional time and money they could have spent on the SP...the part that ALL buyers of ME1 and 2 have paid for.
All it means is that the fans of the series miss out and the COD fans get lured in...how does watering down the quality and catering to a lesser form of human life not effect the game?
IGN...please...just close your servers and stop infecting the minds of the gullible with your insane B.S.
Multiplayer has killed gaming innovation.
Games aren't about innovative story telling or narrative or new methods of gameplay anymore.
Gaming has become about K:D ratio and pointless peripherals.
Long live SP gaming.
I don't know why people hate him for calling out cookie cutter stories in gaming.
In most games there are only a few archetype stories and they rarely differ.
Dioshock was a game set in an alternate reality in the 50's in an underwater city called rapture and was a haven for genetic engineering experiments...
I think it's safe to say that it shattered the mould in a lot of ways.
If anyone can comment in the sorry ...
@ NuclearDuke
How's COD treating you?
P.S
Shove this video up your ass and get some taste.

I also happen to be a vegan but that has nothing to do with my username. If having morals makes me a social outcast then I'll live happily on the fringes with the few sane people that exist in society. ...
The only games I buy are single player games.
I play games for relaxation and escapism.
I'll leave the headset screaming matches to the only children.
Split screen co-op or LAN is the only way to do multiplayer imo, it maintains the social aspect and doesn't make you a dysfunctional social reject like most online gamers are.
It was good but like last year a lot of games that promised to be great ended up sucking.
2008 was the best year for gaming in memory for me.
Fallout 3
Farcry 2
Mirrors Edge
Dead Space
Mass Effect
I know there's a lot more worth mentioning but my memory is f-ed.
We haven't had as many good sequels or new IP's in one year since then imo.
We've had a lot of sequel...
@John2
But the article does say "want AA that is so blurry the blur is actually worse than aliasing"
It says: "Want better graphics in Battlefield3? Try FXAA Injector and witness some of the best PC visuals ever"
You can see why he would question the validity of such an irrational article.
You mean like how PS3 fanboys think the cell is magically going to make games better? Even though most games run at a variable frame rate of <30 and the greater majority of games are sub-hd and the rest minus a few PSN titles are 720p only.
