The first thing that came to mind was Doom 4.
I don't think PC gamers want it. It was going to be a DX10 flagship title and it used to be an open world game. But they narrowed it down, and scaled it back, reduced the quality of the gameplay and graphics and then years later they want to serve up reheated scraps of a game that looked so much better in the cook cook ( the original PC design )

I hope this guy loses every deal he has. It's a shame the company that makes the controller is going to lose business because of him.
They should have saved it for next gen and done a 1080p remake. At least it would have longevity then. What's the point in releasing it on the ass end of the console cycle?
I like to play 'put the valium in the mouth', it's a fun game that all the family can enjoy.
The game is perfect in DX9 and looks amazing,DX11 is just the icing on the cake, another patch is welcome any time. I don't imagine I'll be able to run it with a 60 frame min ( which is really needed for this sort of game ) in DX11 until next generation.
Any money it's something gay and predictable. Gears 4 for example...
It's hard to say which game is PC game of the year, but it sure as F isn't BF3.
It is a waste of resources. I wouldn't go to a gamin museum if it was next to my house and had free entry.
The only value old games have to older games is nostalgia, they have no value whatsoever to new gamers and rightly so.
I love music but I don't give a F who the first company was to use stereo sound etc. Pointless history...

I used to get about 3.5hrs with max lighting and 3D off....there is no way the 3DS gives 5hrs of battery.

Already traded my 3DS. Sorry Nintendo but you don't rush a product out with a tiny screen and 3.5hrs battery life and the entire focus of the console is on a gimmick.

That was a refresh, not a new generation. The 7970 will be the first fully new architecture since the 5000 series.
Just because they give it a new number series doesn't make it new architecture.
The difference betwen a gtx480 and gtx580 was also around 30%. No one claimed there was a jump of 100%.
The difference between a 4870 and a gtx570 WAS a 100% increase.
As always, I don't know why people think a 100% performance increase is an amazing feat.
Doubling performance from one generation to the next is standard.
GTX280 to gtx480 was a 100% performance increase
4870 to 5870 was a 100% performance increase
If the fastest single GPU card isn't 100% faster next generation I would be very disappointed.
I'll still buy it anyway though because my O.C gtx480 is...

I got a ***100%*** performance increase going from last gens top Nvidia card ( GTX280 ) to a GTX480.
If it performs less than twice as good I would be disappointed.
I can't even imagine how awesome a 24" TV would be to game on /s
You could probably buy a 40" TV for the same price. I would much rather buy that.
