must admit some of sony's advertising are a bit weird. however, sony do have normal ps3 adverts (showing the games and power of the ps3) that we don't often discuss.
maybe contraversial adverts work maybe not but one thing they have achieved is publicity.

how many games have ubisoft released for the ps3? so far three games and non of them particularly good.. so sony and ubisoft could BOTH do better.

personally i think nintendo sold out hardcore gamers. there is no denying the success of the wii but i think it is more nextishgen then nextgen.

please don't be so naive. how the heck can you accept developers released photos as a true representation of what the game looks like - can't you remember all the publishers got (successfully) sued a while back for releasing touched up photos purporting to represent ingame foo...
the xbox pictures willy usher are using are pinsharp - look at how sharp the EDGES are, as sharp as anything seen on either xbox360, ps3 or pc. they are touched up. even the world and his wife knows they are touched up (to obviously falsely prove a mistaken point). upscaling causes an improvement in anti-alias at the expense of definition. the fact that the hi-res upscaled pictures are pinsharp must surely ring alarm bells. willy usher is a fraud. journalism and integrity don't sit well ...
look again at the xbox pictures willy usher is using. how can you seriously tell me that the xbox version looks like that? they sure don't look like that on my 1080p 52inch le86mbdx. maybe my tv ain't good enough.
