I can't help but notice a glaring omission to this list, and it may very well be the best exclusive of any system this year: Splinter Cell. What gives?

Sony either needs a price drop soon, or needs to manufacture a "PS3 Lite". It can cut out things like backwards compatibility, built in wi-fi, etc. The price really is hurting it. The PS3 isn't selling badly, but it's not doing well enough to help Sony make a profit, and that is what it all boils down to. On top of that, if it's making the company bleed money, well then there is a big problem.

It also needs to make development for the PS3 more profitable, or we'll ...

OK, I'm am convinced that Zhuk and Dark Sniper are the same person and just messing with everybody. You guy(s) are hilarious! C'mon Zhuk/Sniper, am I right? PM me and let me know, I won't tell!

Yeah, we saw this at e3 already...dildos with glowing orbs! LOLOLOL. Thank you everybody, I'll be here all week.

But seriously, it's time for all the Sony fangirls to show what hypocrites they are. You've all been ripping Natal saying it's not practical for hardcore gaming, and now you say using an ordinary object for a controller will be the greatest thing ever.

By the way, we know Natal can scan objects, so what is stopping it from letting us use objects for cont...

Kutagari = pancake face

Don't worry, we know quality is better than sales, it just so happens us 360 fans have both.

But, but, 360 is dead. LOL. Keep dreaming.

Halo ODST and Splinter Cell are yet to come. Those will move consoles. And wait until Natal comes out. It has already gotten a ton of press, and will help to further increase the 360's lead when it comes out.

What's wrong with 12 hours? Some games can be too long or too short. Maybe for this particular game, 12 hours is just right. And just because it CAN be completed in 12 hours doesn't mean everyone will do it. I tend to take my time and explore levels, so I'm sure it will take me longer.

Super Mario Bros. can be completed between 5 and 6 minutes, but it takes most people longer.

All of Nelson's posts are the same. He is an irrelevant douche, a one-trick pony, and rarely (if ever) backs up his claims with anything intelligent.

Lord Sh!thead, try reading more than two lines in. Sony was guilty of the same thing, it's just that they already settled.

JohnnyBadfinger, you're exactly right. I don't know for sure whether PSN will always be free or turn into a pay service, but you can bet that Sony sees MS making a killing off of Live, and it's in the back of Sony's head that charging for PSN can be an extra source of MUCH NEEDED revenue.

Unless WiiHD comes with a controller as good as the 360's and includes something that Nintendo hasn't seen in a long time - excellent third party support - then I'll stick with my 360.

You're right, the PS2 was phenomenal in sales, but to stop supporting the PS3 and go BACKWARDS in technology to the PS2 would be suicide for Sony.

Everyone knows I'm a 360 fan, but I'm not a blind fanboy like many on this site. I think the PS3 will do well towards the end. The PS3 is the long distance runner in this race. Once the price comes down, sales will increase. The PS3 will never be the sales powerhouse the PS2 was, but it will gain back a little bit of marketshare f...

Wow, from reading some comments above me, I can see that this story made quite a few people mad. People on both sides are saying that each other should stop making hardware. Some people are saying "RROD" and "underperforming" for reasons to stop.

My opinion is that as long as the market supports three consoles, they should all stay in the game. Remember last gen, Sony was the one with hardware problems, and Xbox was the one that was underperforming in sales...

I've been using the 3.5 beta and I love the speed boost it offers. Time to upgrade to the real thing now that it's out!

By 2015? Won't the generation be about over by then? Everyone will be focusing on the next consoles by then. Considering the HUGE marketshare that PS2 had over the competition last gen, narrowly squeaking out a victory against MS, who have had the least amount of time out of the big 3 to build a fan base since it's only their second console, that's not much to brag about. And that's only IF they catch up.

Remember a few years ago, all of the Sony fans on this site kept saying...

It's OK silverchode, I know that comment was just a coping mechanism because you're in denial. But don't worry my friend, you're on the path to acceptance.

Achievements aren't pointless. What percentage of people cheat at them? Probably less than 1.

Blind Sony fangirls always say MS never does anything innovative. The PS3 wouldn't have trophies if it weren't for MS's innovative and addictive Achievement idea.

Awesome! I love Halo, but it is in need of a graphical update.

6106d ago 2 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yes, because every Xbox user is going to know about it, and everyone that knows about it is going to actually do it. [rolls eyes]

People who have cheated in the past have had their Gamerscore reset by MS.

Nothing will spur PS3 sales like a price drop would, but that does seem like a great deal.
