Even if it's not announced to be Uncharted 3, you can rest assure they're working on it, don't worry.

A wand type of controller would be great for Kinect. Buttons are not necessary for a great party or casual experience, but for a hardcore game, you do need buttons. Since Kinect is the more advanced than the PS Eye, if they made a wand to go along with it, it would probably offer the better hardcore experience.

I know that I'm in the minority. I tend to buy a game and play for the most part that game only until I beat it. I beat almost every game that I start.

I don't see how gamers will "suffer" because of Kinect. I really don't think that MS is going to stop coming out with hardcore games anytime soon. They know who their bread and butter is, they're just trying to get a bigger piece of the whole pie. Besides, I wouldn't be surprise if MS introduces a peripheral in the future that works with Kinect to deliver a more core experience, similar to how PS Move works with the PS Eye.

The Wii will probably stay #1 among the casual audience because

1) it's price - casual gamers want to pay a casual price
2) it's simplicity - let's face it, to many casual gamers, the 360 and the PS3 probably seem intimidating

I will say though that having Kinect pushed on Oprah was a very, very smart move. I don't think Kinect will replace the Wii, but it will be a huge success nonetheless.

I'm an Xbox guy, so I'm happy to see it doing well, but Rumor has the right outlook on the situation. In the end, all that matters is that you're enjoying your console(s) of choice.

There's a decent possibility that the PS3 will one day surpass the 360 on a global scale, however the 360 will definitely win the largest market, North America. Not bad for MS's second time around.

The author is an idiot. Gears was a masterpiece. Over-rated? How about GTA IV? As great as it is, it doesn't deserve a 10.

He's just hyping a peripheral. I mean, c'mon, what else would you expect an executive of any company to say about a product that's right around the corner? That's what they do.

This is a good thing. Not that Gears is delayed, but that a Halo won't be releasing next year. When games release annually, they begin to not become as big of a deal when they're released. It's called over-saturation of the market.

No game gets more buzz than Halo. If MS is smart, they'll keep it that way by skipping at least one year in between releases.

By the time the discs of today warp, there will be games that look like real life. I wouldn't sweat it. I have yet to have any CD's or DVD's warp on me. I'm calling shenanigans.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Any game that is released annually will eventually burn out. By having Halo come out ever two years, it will prolong the life of it.

Thankfully it's fake. Every time Robin comes into the picture, it ruins Batman.

You're exactly right, Cyborg. People have to realize that when a Halo game launches, it's going to take all the attention from whatever other games are launching at that time. When a Halo game comes out, it's an event unto itself. People can say what they want to about the series, but nothing will take away its incredible success. The only thing that can hurt it in the foreseeable future is if 343 Studios is bad at making Halo games. I'm pretty sure MS has enough money to...

It would be nice if GTA V looked like the GTA IV computer mod that made it look a lot more realistic and less cartoony. Unless of course they want to give GTA V more of a slapstick feel like previous GTA's, then maybe cartoon-like graphics would fit it better. I for one would prefer a more serious tone and more realistic graphics. They can leave the slapstick, cartoony feel to Saints Row.

MS, or as Sony fanboys like to say, "M$" will be just fine, thanks to their bottomless wallet. Not only does MS own everything Halo, which will still be developed by 343 Studios, but nothing is stopping them from buying the publishing rights to other franchises. I wish they'd just invest in more studios, but as long as quality exclusives are paid for and make their way to the 360, that's what matters.

RAAM was definitely a badass. He does not belong on that cockamamie list.

"10/10 and 100/100 have the same value."

That's pretty funny. I know what he means though. With a 100 scale as opposed to a 10 scale, you can afford to be more nitpicky. Maybe give a score like 95 or 98 out of 100. Sure, with a 10 scale you could always give a decimal number like 9.5 or 9.8 for a score, but I don't know of many that do that. If you are going to do that, you might as well use 100 for a grading scale.

Wait, you know what, I take it back. I should have said that Doom established the genre, and then Half Life revolutionized it. BUT it was Halo that took the FPS genre to new heights, and yes it was revolutionary in terms of on line play and choices. The Halo series is a pop culture phenomenon, something Sony does not have whether anyone likes it or not. And don't even say Gran Turismo...it's very popular, but it's not Halo popular.

Shouldn't something be dead before it has a funeral? This is like when the NAACP had a funeral for the N word. Everyone understands the symbolism, but in the end it makes them look foolish.
