I'm a fan of Mark Wahlberg, but I don't see him as Nathan Drake. I was picturing the role of Drake to go to someone like Tracy Morgan.
The guy who reported this story is absolutely horrible. He's torture for the ears.
"Want to know what is coming to the PlayStation Store this week?" -- Hopefully the ability to connect to it. PSN went down only about a week after I bought my PS3, so it would be nice to go on there and download some demos.
There was the end of the Nintendo press conference too a few years ago where the Nintendo staff were playing the Wii-motes like musical instruments. Now THAT was cringe-worthy.
Why Sony can't please everyone: Because gamers are whiny little babies.
Sony has been providing a FREE service for YEARS to its customers. It gets hacked and goes down, and all of a sudden Sony owes the world to everyone. Then they offer multiple free games on top of other perks and it's still not good enough? I rest my case.
It kind of feels like I'm watching a Presidential Election, waiting for my state to turn a certain color.
GOTY will be LA Noire vs. Uncharted 3 vs. Gears of War 3 vs. Skyrim. My money is on Skyrim.
If all you play is shooters, it's better to have a 360 anyway.
20,000? Sweet! I make the cut with almost 3,000 points to spare! Now I have to work on my trophies.
I have it on good word that in the beginning of the PlayStation 3 life cycle, Kaz Hirai walked under a ladder, broke a mirror, spilled salt and didn't throw it over his shoulder, and had a black cat cross his path ALL IN THE SAME DAY.
I was gonna say the exact same thing. This guy is horrible. He sounds like an uneducated buffoon.
May 31st? Holy crap. If these hackers get caught, they are going away for a long ass time.
@lociefer - I don't want any more delays either. Unfortunately, Sony doesn't have a choice until they are 100% sure that there are no vulnerabilities to the network. It's better to get it right the first time rather than find out the hard way and have to shut down again for who knows how long.
It's considered bad language on this website to use letters to represent curse words? I swear you guys ask to have comments hidden for the dumbest reasons, and because you disagree with them in the least. I've had enough of this MFing S. Guys, stop being such Fing Ps.
In honor of George Carlin, I'd just like to say:
S, P, C, C, CS, MF, Ts.
I couldn't care less about the disc swapping. For me, it's the fact that the PS3 version has exclusive content that I will be getting that version, that and the fact that I believe it was originally developed on the PS3.
I'm not biased...I know I'll probably have to swap discs for Mass Effect 3 next year, but I have to carry over my game saves, which are on the 360!
I can't help but NOT be excited at the thought of a KINECT-centered MS press conference. Sony's barrage of hardcore exclusives on the other hand...awesome. Hopefully MS will surprise us.
@Mr. Dead - I think you're misunderstanding me here. I never said that Sony is doing poorly. There's a difference between doing poorly and giving up marketshare. Sony have lost a lot of ground to MS and Nintendo this gen compared to last, but they're still doing good. They deserve to do good. Sony impresses me every year with how hard they work and how loyal they are to the hardcore gamer.
You're right that the PS3, as I've expected all along, has clo...
If there's one thing that Sony should learn from Microsoft...it's to relentlessly market the hell out of a product. Kinect outsold Move by a lot. If Move was more aggressively marketed like Kinect was/is, maybe it would be different.
@ MrDead - I didn't say that the PS3 hasn't done well...I said it hasn't done AS well. The PS3 has garnered an impressive amount of quality titles including many great exclusives, and it is probably the best built console there is. BUT...the PS3 is not as successful financially for Sony as the PS2 was.
Launching at $599 hurt them, and Sony has said that they learned their lesson. A Sony rep said that they have to balance between adding features and keeping price...
Really guys, Tracy Morgan? Anyone ever heard of sarcasm?
