Man, games take way too long to make now. If only they didn't waste time with the Wii version of Dead Space and Dante's Inferno. I'm sure Dante's Inferno will be great but come on it's facing God of War 3 and a couple other similar games, just make Dead Space 2 which way more people want considering RE5 was lame as hell. Dead Space is the only survival horror fix this-gen.
agree, i want sandbox also, and being able to look in dark alleyways etc. swing down and save people and so on.
I wish Crytek made a real Lost game with the sandbox world of Crysis but with all the dharma stations and stuff. It would be a dream game. Or if there were modders out there making it =(.
Has everybody looked over the fact that there's nothing else to buy for the system? Atleast during that holiday period? It's a main 2D Mario game, and there was practically nothing else to get from Nintendo that was worth the money. Ofcourse it's going to sell a lot. Marumasa Demon Blade is 2D also but it didn't sell well. Just because a Mario one sold well doesn't mean 2D isn't dead.
@ nycredude
Bungie sandwiches and hides his anti-Sony statements inbetween good statements. In that particular example he had to downplay PS2's graphics and hid it inbetween the loving twisted metal/gameplay thing.
He does that in every Sony-related article, he'll act like he's glad or happy about said news but hides a bashing inbetween somewhere.
Well there goes the 2010 release date.
Mark my words - this game will be a launch game for the Wii sequel, but will have the same graphics as Wii and will also be released on Wii, just like Twilight Princess.
Then they're gonna waste 6 years telling people they're gonna make a "Wii HD Zelda" which will just launch at the next console, and so on, that way they don't have to actually use the resources on their current console, they can just release their ga...
What else is new.
No GTA or MGS on the list? lol k. I'd gut out atleast half of that list and replace it with better games.
Big Epic Fail.
Epic Fail.
It's unfortunate that this isn't coming to PS3. I'm gonna get this on PC but I would've liked to play co-op with someone I knew. I know people who are on PSN but not on Steam/PC.
There are no expectations right now because of how long the game is taking. Everyone forgot about it until the hype train starts rolling around, but damn hurry up we wanna play it.
WOW Max Payne 2? No way. I like part 2 better than part 1 (by a little bit) both games are in my top 3 all time favorite games.
Part 2 was just as good as the original and I thought had better dialogue which is why I like it a little more, it had lots of more memorable lines.
MGS2 shouldn't be on there also, the only fault with MGS2 imo (besides Raiden but i'm over that) was The Arm, which was just flat out weird and dumb. Everything else was incredible.
This is stupid but it's still another dagger into MS' whole "value for money" thing.
Everytime MS' adds something to act like their 50$ price tag is justifiable, Sony just comes back and releases it for free.
Figure out a way to take away all of the horrible JAGGIES. Arctic Edge is great but man those jaggies are awful. Please make it so you can have some AA on the games.
Other than that, another analog stick is a MUST, and PS2 game support through the PSN store or whatever. I disagree with the other person I want it to be a portable console not a portable handheld. I don't like handheld games with broken controls and weak gameplay, make it like a portable PS2 and i'm there day one.
Why would you even need a 100-200gb BD disc?
1. Blu Ray drives for PC are still expensive and external drives exist so it's not like people are going to burn a bunch of their PC's content to a 100gb BD disc.
2. Where can you even buy a 200gb disc and what would be on it? The only feasible thing is multiple films from one director/actor or multiple seasons from a show. By the time we need the 100gb discs, there will be new BD players that will be able to support them....
Silent Hill and the first Mortal Kombat beg to differ. Obviously MK is cheesy as hell now but it's still a classic. And Silent Hill wasn't scary but I thought it was a decent adaption to the game, where most flat out suck.
Resident Evil had like nothing to do with the game at all other than the zombies/monsters. I think Bioshock will be the first good game adaption, its being written by the guy who wrote The Aviator and Gladiator.
Obviously some of these are jokes but i'm number 9 and 10 personally. I have lots of game scores/soundtracks along with movie scores also, I do listen to them regularly sometimes. Have been listening to Uncharted's soundtrack a lot recently in prep for part 2.
As for sleep, I wouldn't be surprised if most people didn't sleep enough in general, due to work or school or whatever, it's not really a game-only thing.
I didn't read the article just looked at the headline but I feel like I should correct it. Yes technically all hardcore gamers were once casual. But the important thing to realize is most of them were probably casual with they were KIDS, like 6,7,8 years old, which gives them a valid reason for being casual, they're just not good at that stuff yet.
However if you're 30 years old and you can't coordinate 2 analog sticks something is wrong imo.
torrentspy ...we will never forget.
Also this isn't a website but AOL chatrooms, lawl. Those were the shi* in the 90s, nostalgia ftw.
