1. You don't care about lobbies does that mean you don't care about the game's community either? You only go in random rooms just to shoot around without caring about squads, meeting up with certain people etc.? Your loss I guess.
2. Classic mode is missing lots of important classic features.
3. This was in development before MAG came out, so whatever MAG's reception was has nothing to do with the casual nature of this game. It has to do with ...
I thought the same thing, and then the other article saying "Skyrim looks great on PS3" which is also from neogaf.
Like damn it really is true Gaf > Internet > Gaf, how about getting your own stuff =/ Mooching off other sites to bump your own is lame as shit.
I'd rather see Zipper create a real Socom game in Socom 4 and not this Rogue Elite Dudebro Force Attack Master Missle Action Jackson Effect Overthrow Dictator Manifesto Look at our Cool Story-Like Cutscenes with shitty respawn multi player and 'classic' mode that's missing half of the classic features.
This looks amazing what the hell is wrong with you.
YES!!! I loved Mafia 2 and was hoping for a sequel. It's amazing on PC. I know the console versions kind of got shafted though but it was the same thing with the first Mafia anyway. The visuals, music, setting etc. in terms of the environment/time period was just perfect. I can't wait until LA Noire comes out so there'll be a Noir/darker version of the same kind of environment.
Mafia 2 could've had more content within the sandbox world and the story could'...
Me either, where is it?
Max Payne 1 and 2 are in my top 5 games of all time. I just absolutely love everything about them. What they're about, the dialogue, the atmosphere, everything is so perfect.
There's no way i'm supporting 3 unless they get rid of that stupid jungle fat bald guy shit. Max Payne should be about the 3 N's: Night, Noir, New York. As well as psychological terror and the gunplay should be arcadey fun like in part 1 and 2. I already know they're going to complet...
Wow dude thanks a lot this is amazing.
Unless it's a 360 exclusive.
Agree with all except Bioshock 2. Even though Bioshock 2 was unnecessary I still liked it and love the Bioshock universe too much to say no to more quality titles in the same universe. I hope it keeps going on and a Bioshock 3 is in the works from the same team, that way we can have a Bioshock 3 as well as Bioshock Infinite to look forward to.
Minerva's Den DLC was better than most of the full game though I wish that was incorporated into the original game and it would...
I really hope not. I hate how games release on Tuesday's when everyone has work. I want the weekend to play this game it should be released on a Friday. If anything Thursday or something.
If it releases on a Tuesday/Wednesday it'll be so annoying.
I think they mean 'paid' reaction. Without those dolla dolla advertising bills nobody would know or care about Kinect.
These kinds of stories always make me roll my eyes. They have these massive statements like "someone was trapped in a basement being set ablaze, and one person had to go in and save him!" etc. and then the end result is so cheap and stupid.
The end result of this one is the kid using the DS light to unbuckle his mother or something. I mean come on are you serious. The article builds up this huge thing and then THAT'S the big reveal? So dumb.
Als...
I knew I should've pirated Vegas.
I ended up pre-ordering it on Steam because I wanted to support Obsidian but now they're playing this exclusive BS like with Fallout 3.
Now I know not to support Bathesda anymore with my money. I should pirate the DLC whenever it hits PC, that's my vote that I hate this exclusive DLC crap.
It's a spin-off sequel, it's kind of supposed to be the same. The graphics/textures and the assets used on characters, guns etc. are generally the same but everything else is different. New story, characters, towns, quests, etc.
I don't really get how anybody can say different. Just because visually it looks like Fallout 3 doesn't mean it's the same game.
Fallout 3 is about unprecedented freedom in an advanced 3D environment. You can do many, many things that you would never be able to dream of in any other normal game. You have control over tons of variables including how the storyline progresses, how characters and AI in the game treat you, strategies as to how you want to engage in battles, and so on.
The game's have sharp satire on American society wrapped in funny jokes/situations/characters. Even though the games are...
The one they picked for FF13 is amazing. I also love the sequence when they're flying in the ship and the things in the sky are flying around, the music and direction in both scenes is just incredible. Not to mention how glorious it looks in 1080p.
@dinkeldinkse
Yea I know what you mean I know COD games now are arcade compared to something like Killzone 2 but what I meant was aesthetically and the design of how everything works.
Like in COD's you can generally only hold 2 weapons and all of the weapons/environments are based on real-life and so on. With Duke it's just going to be a cool fun sci fi game. Halo is practically the only major successful one right now that's doing that.
You guys are nuts. Go back to COD. This game will be great, even if it's not the end-all of FPS games it's going to be very different in a genre that's plagued with realism and noob BS. This will be pure arcade fun.
@Venom. That 60$ is meaningless towards the response Zipper's next game will get as well as the support for 4. It will be a large hit to their pride when they have nobody playing their servers after a month. They spend years on shitty multiplayer that they think is good only for it to not be played. That's a big deal regardless of the fact that they get their money.
