It causes problems when you're avoiding peoples phone calls for whatever reason then they get a message that you've just signed in and therefore are at home and have some free time at hand (or is that just me?).
Being anti-social can be very difficult nowadays.
Does anybody know whether they actually have any creativity in their game development, or do they simply copy and clone like they do with everything else?
@Dothraki
I don't disagree with you, but it is primarily a children's program and not exactly a threat to society.
I just wish I weren't so skint right now, some of these deals have been amazing. Would get this one for sure.
I don't know too much about their restrictions on video games, but with TV and movies I'm aware that the restrictions are somewhat bizarre.
Violence as such isn't banned, it depends a lot on who the violence is directed against (definitely not against the government etc). But what is really strange is that any depiction of time-travel is banned outright.
Programs such as Dr Who (seemingly completely innocent) are banned from public consumption for example.
...
As long as it makes sense it's not a problem.
I remember when Michael Jackson was announced as a playable character in Ready 2 Rumble Round 2 (a boxing game), I mean wtf was that all about if it wasn't just a shameless cash-in.
Lol @ trailer.
I would like to point out that I don't for one second believe the premise I suggested (in fact I didn't even think of it, it was the little devil on my shoulder that whispered it in my ear).
I apologise to anyone that didn't realise I was joking (I thought the /s was a big enough clue).
Now it seems some people have taken it to heart. I guess some are just way too eager to jump on any conspiracy theory going (no matter how ludicrous they may be)....
"Since when creator decide what I will be play?"
Since forever, if you don't believe me try playing a game that was never created.
Everything you have ever played was decided upon by the creator. They decide what you can or can't play, you decide if you want to or not.
So she won't be available in "the West", but she will be available in Europe?
Someone needs to brush-up on their Geopolitical knowledge.
Maybe they should make a further two versions, one for the Eastern market and one for Asia?
And when I think Killer Instinct, I always associate it with N64 (not Xbox One).
Yeah, great idea, release SFV exclusively for SNES!
I agree with the sentiment, but you can't live in a home that was demolished years ago.
But most of the arcades were closed so SF got evicted and had to find a new home or risk getting kicked to death by a gang of kids whilst sleeping in a department store doorway.
"We can clearly see who made the bigger deal, SFV was just announced and is already an afterthought."
That is simply because there are still questions to debate about the TR exclusivity deal, whereas there is nothing to discuss with regards to SFV's, we already know its permanent.
I must admit it is refreshing to see a journalist persistently asking awkward (but very valid) questions like this.
"who loves doing the same thing multiple times."
Everyone in the world, otherwise sex, alcohol, drugs etc would have died out years ago. It depends on the rewards you get for the activity. But in the context of destiny I think your point is somewhat valid.
The "risk taking" has simply moved to smaller and mid-tier game developers.
It all works out perfectly, the big guns are free to spend huge budgets on AAA safe-bet titles whilst the smaller companies have the opportunity to make a name for themselves through innovation and creative gameplay.
Personally I feel that the diversity we are currently witnessing is very exciting. When I first started gaming (35 years ago) there weren't any huge AAA tit...
The last thing I would recommend to any gamer is the WiiU. If you like Nintendo games you'll either have one already or be planning to get one.
To me Nintendo games are like Disney films. I'm aware that they are high quality and that they are very popular, but they simply leave me cold.
I have been gaming for almost 35 years and never felt the need to buy a Nintendo console. I don't know what it is about them, they just do nothing for me whatsoev...
Unless of course, they scripted the bug to convince people it was real, /s
First gaming experience for me was on a pong clone in 1979 (aged 6-7).
I feel lucky that I have experienced the entire history of gaming in my lifetime, from it's very humble niche beginnings to the multi-billion dollar industry that exists today.
