Renault 5? Really?
That was their intention from day one. They always said the game will evolve over time, with feedback from gamers driving the changes. It is an attempt at a new way of game development.
I don't have a WiiU, but does that mean I can't have an opinion on it?
Well you always hear Nintendo fans saying they have such great exclusives and point to metacritic as a way of proving their point. I've seen enough of Mario to know that every single game is massively overrated and the same with almost all other titles.
Then somebody provides a list of 'great' games that sounds like a kindergarten book listing which looks a little like;
Fluffy Fox's Furry Knitting: 98%
Little Ducko's Eg...
In my opinion, the list of overrated WiiU games is far, far longer.
You won't regret your choice. I waited a while until the worst problems were ironed out and am really loving the game.
Ignore the haters, you won't believe how good this game is if you've read the reviews, most of the complaints seem like baseless nitpicking, the game deserves 8's and 9's at the very least.
The lack of tuning options means that all the improvements in speed come from your driving skills alone (if someone in the same car is...
How did this crap get approved? The guy doesn't even swear properly, he doesn't emphasise points with it or create fluid sentences, it's as if he wrote the article then added f**k at random interjections.
Maybe people should learn how to express themselves before publishing themselves on the web? Why do these idiots think their opinion is worthy enough to be published in the first place?
"And yet every day articles titled "PlayStation wins the console war" and "Xbox turns tide in console war" hit the front page here. I'd say it's needed."
I'd say they're all pretty pointless and another stupid opinion where the author feels the need to point out the obvious is never needed, but maybe some people just need a hand to hold when it comes to the difficult task of thinking?
Why such concern about my moo...
@Lame
Not at all, its a great game (you obviously haven't played it or you would know how ridiculous your comment is).
Try commenting on a subject you have even the tiniest clue about. Bandwagon jumping is for morons, what's your excuse?
This article is pretty stupid.
Opinion piece No:342675
on the subject of: "Too early to call console war winner"
File under: obvious, pointless, says nothing new.
I agree completely.
Whats more, all those highly rated titles and not a single one of interest to me in the slightest.
The game looks really good. I watched a 20 minute gameplay video and it did look impressive.
The only thing I don't like is the grey/brown colour palette, its so dull and murky that it can be hard to differentiate the NPC's from the background at times.
Daikatana is another example. Great pedigree (made by John Romero, creator of Doom), tons of hype, huge delays and an abortion of a game that materialised.
It won't happen with the Witcher 3 however.
The original Gran Turismo saved my life (or at least prevented a serious accident).
I was driving a friends wreck of a car (with bald tyres and one working brake), when there was a sudden downpour. I took a corner slightly too fast and started sliding sideways towards a high stone wall at quite a pace.
Despite being a relatively inexperienced driver at the time, I didn't panic at all and controlled the slide perfectly by steering into the skid and using...
Where's the Liberty Cap girl?
DriveClub is one of the top 3 games I've played this year on any system. It is really addictive and way more fun than the reviews would have you believe.
Its the best driving game I've played in years (including both X1 Forza games)
@Why o why
My predictive text/spell checker is set to British English rather than American English, but it still doesn't allow me to spell certain words correctly.
I usually manually correct comments but must have missed this one :(
It sounds like a flippant, "humorous" (in his mind at least), benign remark that people are taking way too seriously.
@HeMan
The UK is part of Europe, both politically and geographically, it only seems to separate itself from the continent to come to the aid of Microsoft's sales figures.
I wonder why that is?
As an Englishman I am a British citizen, a citizen of the United Kingdom and a citizen of Europe, anybody who denies that is a moron (and a hospitalized moron if they say it to my face).
Yeah, if you watch the digital foundry weather video it never drops a single frame in 15 mins, rock-solid. The game plays brilliantly at 30 f/s, I'm glad they made that choice (for this title at least).
