I came, I saw, I was eternally corrupted by that image (who can I sue?)
Don't like their pricing policy? Don't buy from them (or buy them cheaper from their online site).
It's not a rip-off unless you buy into it. Its more of a stupidity tax if you ask me.
@Maniacmayhem
No, disingenuous because he is constantly trolling PS4 articles and has made plenty of statements denigrating the PS4.
He has no interest in the system other than to mock it, it's games and its users, so why the sudden interest in a title that is exclusive to that platform?
Maybe he is interested for the PC release? Possibly, but as I said before I "sense" that his concerns are disingenuous.
@gangsta-red
As a committed Xbox fanboy I somehow sense your concerns are somewhat disingenuous.
@Nugget
Why do you constantly troll every console article going? What do you get from it?
The fact is that the reasons P.C. games are "held back" are nothing to do with consoles, they are;
1) PC gamers are cheap when it comes to buying software. When was the last time you payed full price for a PC game? Do you think that endears you to the development community?
2) PC has no 'Champion'. Microsoft and Sony both put a ...
Why not? If people don't want to pay that price they can shop elsewhere.
It looks bad if a store has perpetually sold out of a product. It has a negative impact on the perception of the outlet. As there are a limited supply of these they have two options; keep the price the same and have empty shelf space or raise the price and keep the shelves filled for longer.
They are obviously confident that they can still sell their stocks at that price so why wouldn't t...
If you had a PS4 you would know the answer, as you don't know the answer I can only assume that you are either trolling or too lazy to spend 10 seconds checking the Playstation store.
Either way, you obviously have no interest in the game and don't care about any promises made so why comment?
Who says they're based in the US in the first place? The White house only has limited influence globally.
"SotC was the PS2's swansong, and the most technically impressive game on the console"
Although I would agree with the fact that it was a fantastic and visually impressive game, the chugging framerate at key moments prevented it from being the most "technically" impressive title in my opinion.
At times the framerate was barely in double figures (although this didn't for one moment ruin the experience for me, it has to be mentioned)...
The PS4 version looks significantly better in that comparison video, I'm pretty sure that won't translate into the real-world releases.
Probably just a bad video.
Bigfoot, a UFO and a unicorn are all there, its just a pity they forgot to put a game in it.
They've clawed back 400k units of a 6-7 million deficit after some of the most aggressive marketing price cuts and giveaways in recent memory.
Whilst this is certainly something for Microsoft to celebrate and demonstrates that the public have largely forgiven them for the atrocious launch and terrible PR blunders, I think it's ridiculous to come to this conclusion after a single months sales figures.
If the Xbox One were to outsell the PS4 by 400k uni...
@TheMeatPuppet
My dad used to rent an intellivision system (by Mattel) from our local video store every other weekend.
"Tanks" was my favourite game on the system (real name Armor Battle) and it was so exciting when he brought it home. My sisters and I couldn't wait to play.
I still have my original wood-effect Atari 2600 (though I must admit I haven't played with it in a while).
Here's a link to Armor Combat; ...
@HeMan
"Your comments make my eyes watered."
Calm down, there's no need to cry!
Don't bother with He Man, he's beyond redemption (I've had PM's from the guy that prove he's both delusional and unhinged).
O.T. The game is looking fantastic right now, I may well end up purchasing it.
Sony acknowledged that they couldn't (and wouldn't) match Microsoft's aggressive advertising and price cuts prior to Black Friday, and that Microsoft would likely do well over the Christmas period.
Both companies just seem to be respectful of each others positions and circumstances at the moment.
A knee-jerk reaction would just have looked cheap and desperate.
Maybe, but they did always say it was coming in early December.
There's obviously more to this weather patch than most in-game weather, so you can understand why it took a while to implement.
Evo said early on that this was the game they always wanted to make. Their ambition clashed with Sony's need to deliver a racing franchise to the fans and compromises were made.
On the plus side, this game will only improve and grow over time as they imp...
Should have picked a better name to begin with!!!
Sony have already stated why they are reluctant (and unlikely) to allow name changing.
@outlaw
I know, but they have to actively look for you. If it flashes up on the screen in front of them you'll be caught out every time.
I like the idea of being able to switch it off and be anonymous when it suits me though.
Its funny but not a single title in those 3 lists interests me in the slightest.
I guess a WiiU would be a terrible "only console" for me to have personally.
