They should call it Facelook. *drops mic, and walks away*
It's funny, because Sony was bragging about the "worldwide" launch, and kicking dirt in MS's face over "only 13 countries", YET they failed on most fronts to even have an adequate supply. Then they started holding back new stock from factories to prepare for the Japan launch, which made it worse. Just like last gen, this gen will be a marathon. Sony knows their "lead" is tenuous, and that...just like with the PS3...having "superior hardware" gu...
For a second, I thought that said "How to DRAIN your dragon". ( つ﹏╰)
Far Cry 4: Blood Elephant...make it happen.
When the size of the cinematics/cutscenes have a negative impact on the overall quality of a GAME, you're doing it all wrong. Shame on you Naughty Dog.
When are they going to patch the console versions? I'm playing it on PC and X1, and have had no problems on PC...but on X1, the game nearly grinds to a halt every time I complete a mission, and it's calculating XP earned, skills unlocked, etc.
Nor should they. If you want to know what they'd look like on PS4/X1, play them on PC; you can build one that will play both games properly for the same $$ it takes to own a console.
People have blown this WAAAAY out of proportion. This is a brand new IP, with a new engine (supposedly...but this IS Bungie we're talking about...), and a 10 yr. exclusive publishing deal with the Devil himself, Bobby Kotick. The "$500 million" is an investment in the entire future of this franchise, including a ton of marketing $$; it is NOT the development cost of this first game. Hell, Activision hasn't spent that kind of money on the last 4-5 COD games COMBINED.
When my love interest gets shot in the head by a crazy b*tch in TTG's 'The Walking Dead', I was so pissed I stopped playing...and never went back.
I'm guessing something along the lines of Vanquish...but with kaiju-like monsters.
Edge of Tomorrow ISN'T a video game movie...it's a Sci-Fi movie based on a novel, and has a game tie-in primarily for marketing purposes. By the author's definition of a "video game movie", there have been PLENTY of action/adventure films that had video game qualities...but nobody would be stupid enough to call them "video game movies", when they had nothing to do with the medium.
Because I hated the Resistance franchise, and FUSE was largely garbage, I really had no interest in this game prior to E3. Now, it's a definite buy for me.
2 multiplats and a rehash? Really?? Sux2BU...
We've seen more than enough of Driveclub. As far as "dropping the ball" goes, I'd say it's a toss-up between LBP3 (which looks just like LBP2, but with new sack-things) and Uncharted 4. Probably Uncharted 4, since we didn't even get any gameplay ; they've been too busy with 'TLOU:The Double-Dip Edition' I suppose. :o
What was the point of this being released for PC anyway? The few changes they made could be done with a patch on PC, and visually it will be the same.
It's also releasing on PC, so that would technically be the "best version". The Borderlands games, like many modern multiplats, even have full controller support ; it's like playing on a console with steroids.

This is the first time I've noticed the mixed art style for Destiny. Looks like Bungie wanted to go with a cell-shaded look, but didn't want to be accused of ripping off Borderlands completely...so it's only semi-cell-shaded. Very weird looking...
Ubisoft....Ubilazy.
Most people don't realize that the majority of game devs use a similar method to Amazon, and other companies, when it comes to their workforce. They keep an efficient core on staff all of the time, for certain departments/positions, and sub-contract the rest as temps. Movie studios do something similar as well.
