Wait...they just recently announced the release date is Oct. 2014, yet with 6 months to go, they're just entering (their version) of alpha? So, it's safe to assume the game...like most EA-published games of late...will lack polish, and be a bug-fest.
So apparently Amazon is trying to "kill" MS, Sony and Nintendo, by this logic. ◔_◔
I just hope it fails quickly, so they realize they need to get back to what they know, and double their efforts on the next TES and Fallout single player games.

It's weird, because I remember this game ; to be honest, it wasn't much worse than a lot of the indie garbage that's released for Steam, mobile, etc. In fact, I guarantee the game would sell a couple million copies now, if it were re-released as a cheap download.
This was a no-brainer, considering the WiiU controller is perfect for such a game. I actually thought it would be a launch game.

I'm sure most people who follow video game trends expected this. It only makes sense, considering the competition they'd have this year. Watch Dogs will be huge, and it's widely believed that GTAV will drop for PS4/X1/PC this year as well; this holiday you have another COD and Assassin's Creed to contend with. If you're trying to launch a new IP, that ,compared to Watch Dogs,has gotten pretty much ZERO press so far, it would be crazy not to delay it.
Well, that's not saying much though. The fact is, this is still nothing more than a console game, ported to PC. My rig can play literally any game at it's max settings...including Skyrim with dozens of mods... at insane fps. But DS2 doesn't demand anything from my hardware, that couldn't be achieved with a 5 y.o. PC. From Software simply doesn't make graphical showpieces...it's just no their thing, apparently. Even the original Demon Souls on PS3 was nothing spec...

Well I should hope so. Hell, my anticipation for Uncharted 4 is about the only reason I'm not considering selling my PS4.
I've got the feeling Nintendo is going to kill off the WiiU early, and soon after they'll release the 3DS 2.0 XXL ...and it's inside of a repurposed WiiU controller. That would actually be pretty cool, now that I think about it....
