I really feel the only reason this did not happen is they knew Vista/Games for Window , Live Anywhere would not have real market penetration until 2008 beyond. What was the point in putting it into a console launching Nov 05 ?

I have little to no interest in a model like this , so I personally am not upset. If they launched a Black premium regular old 399.99 360 later this year with the 65nm and the quieter dvd drive , I would actually happily rebuy. Seriously I like the 360 that much.

I have almost gotten to the point where I believe in the death of the TRUE exclusive. I'm pretty sure we will see MGS4 on the 360 , eventually, just like PS3 fans will get things from the 360 they don't expect. These companies have to make money after all.
I think they beat the PS3 up a little to much in North America and beat the 360 up a little to much in Europe , sales wise. I also think they have to much confidence in the Wii even though I own one and enjoy it I don't think it will sell THAT well , like THQ stated.

They have been very secretive almost doing the opposite of hyping it up.
They are only supporting the PC market of which an even smaller percentage of PC users will be able to run this title balls to the wall.
