From what I could gather expect the MGS4 announcement as early as the end of April. As far as FF , don't hold your breath. Don't believe me ? Wait and see.
All I have to say is 127,000. If the PS3 keeps selling like this in NA and Japan , pretty much expect it.
Developers are not console fanboys , they are multimillion dollar corporations. From what I could gather Japan has been paying attention to the PS3 sales numbers in NA and obviously Japan and some developers are starting to panic. If it does not outsell the 360 in the March NPD , OR WORSE YET GOES LOWER OR STAYS AT 127,000. Expect announcments.

The 360 just needs to keep doing what it is doing and it should be fine. It's 2007 lineup is probably one of the best ever in console history. It outsold the PS3 2 TO 1 in the US. There were more 360 sales in the US alone than the PS3 did worldwide in Feb. . I recently bought a PS3 and I don't know what to say , it's literally selling slower than the Gamecube.

I have all 3 systems at this point I like them all and I'm excited by the games.
I fully expect the PS3 to be the third place console in North America this generation as it is expected to be outsold by the 360 by as much as 100,000 units in the February NPD.

PC gaming is not going anywhere. I still believe it is a separate entity than console gaming though , I don't like when people group them together , they are soo different. So I don't like things like cross platform games like Shadowrun and Live Anywhere.
I think FPS with a controller while not as accurate as a mouse and KB setup is more realistic. I don't like how people praise per pixel accuracy and speed with a mouse. Like I told my friend , " yeah I bet any soldier can do ...
I have both systems. Little Big Planet is very cool and very exciting and has graphics that MS will have to answer to. I have to ask you this though , I WILL buy LBP because I have a PS3 but is that the type of game that sells 600.00 consoles to the hardcore ? It's a graet idea and innovation in gaming but if you think it will move consoles off shelves like Halo 3 - Mass Effect or MGS4 - FF13 , I doubt your logic.

I LOVED my Playstation , God, did I love it ! I think PS2 is in the top 3 for best console of all time , but I'm a gamer , I'm not a Sony fan , there is a huge difference.
The XBOX 360 is going to go down as a classic console ,yes , it's that good, it is simply one of the best. This generation so much more than the last if you can go multiplatform , please do it.
If you are a gamer and love games and can purchase a 360 in it's lifespan , do it !

I don't have money issues , I don't notice 50 bucks a year for live. I spend more than 50 bucks a week on lunch.
This is an online community , it's not a gaming service like LIVE , it IS a game. It will be fun and I am really looking forward to it. Just be clear this , free or not , is no Live killer. Sony has taken a different path.

Really , "untapped for years ," for how many years though ? What exactly was Sony planning with the PS3. Is it actually made to last two generations ? I am really starting to think that is the plan.
Problem is if Microsoft releases the next XBOX in 4 to 5 years time as it is already 1 1/2 years old and this console generation is neck and neck like so many are predicting. Does Sony counter with the PS4 right away ? Or do they ride the PS3 for like 2 years into the XBOX 7...

I bet you a bargain bin game it will go something like this... You take a mate ALOT like you did in Fable. Now when it's time to have a child a little square box will come up asking you ( Do you choose to have a child Press X - Yes , Press B - No )and that is the protected unprotected aspect of the game in it's entirety.
Looks like it could be cool. With Mass Effect , Blue Dragon , Lost Odessey, Eternal Sonata and this game all being announced for 360 this year it looks like we are moving out of the shooter phase and into an RPG glut. Interesting.
I could not disagree more. I have been really impressed by the PS3 recently with Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank screens and Uncharted screens have been beautiful. I really mean this , take the lighting and shadowing out of this game and this game to me looks like a last generation title. I might be the only one not blinded by the hype , I don't know.

Crackdown is a cell shaded game. It has a specific art style. Gears of War - photrealism , Mass Effect - photorealism , Alan Wake - photrealism. Those are all the Microsoft Game Studio games I can think of right now.
