I read the news all I know is it's a SAME DAY release on both systems in the U.S. If Japan is getting it early , good for them.
I could only see Sega not shipping it to European 360's before it's on PS3 , in THAT region. That makes sense.

I liked it. I enjoyed the single player mission enough to play through it a couple of times.

I really agree with you PoG. I guarantee that overnight VF5 is gonna "suck" and not be worth it to Sony fans. In reality a simple look at old post shows that ALL of them were saying that it was "true" next gen and a "killer app." They will all jump to Tekken as the premiere fighting game , when just a month ago the Xbox 360 wasn't powerful enough to handle VF5 , now it won't be powerful enough to handle Tekken , until it's released on the 360 of course.
Wasn't VF5 a title Sony fans were using to prove the PS3 was "true next - gen?" Oh no. HA.
The news I have read have it realeasing on the same day in the U.S. . I'm pretty sure that goes for Europe if they have the PS3 at the point this game releases , if they don't , the only VF game in the region might be on the 360 , LOL.
I have a nagging feeling that 3rd party exclusives are all but gone. Time will tell.
If the PS3 does not get ports of games such as Dead Rising and Lost Planet , then , Yes, Sony is in HUGE trouble. We'll see.

I have nothing to say about the PS3 losing anything. The 3rd party exclusive is almost DEAD. It's about first party titles at this point , as far as making your console choice.

What you said is true. Just keep in mind as I want to get this through to as many people as possible. This is a non - issue. The PS2 and the 360 ARE NOT competing machines. This is an issue only because the fans on thi site make it so.
Though improved sales are NEVER a bad thing.
The 360 has sold well and Microsoft stock was on the rise because of it. This dime a dozen analyst crud from the Waitstation fans is not reality. I haven't played a Metal Gear game since Metal Gear Solid / PS1. It's not my taste. Too corny , waayyy to much talking for a stealth action title.
Pretty much the first time I hid under a table to enjoy a 15 min. converstion with some chick and asked her out while hiding from armed assault troops I turned it off.
I would not be buying this game. I just feel this is another Assassins Creed as far as being a PS3 "exclusive."
"Konami has no plans to bring Metal Gear Solid 4 to the Xbox 360 AT THIS TIME," They just CONFIRMED it for the 360. This , for people grounded in reality, is not a " debunk " in any way shape or form.
With that statement they pretty much confirmed a timed exclusive. "Konami has no plans to bring Metal Gear Solid 4 to the Xbox 360." That is the comment the PS3 fans needed to see. Sorry guys.
Way overpriced in my opinion. Some of those systems , the actual consoles you can buy at local shops or of EBAY for 15 dollars. Some of those games he has listed are under 10 dollars , some are under 5 bucks. Really nice collection , though.
where you are going with this. The PS3 will sell well. The obvious flaw in your thinking is I think alot of PS3 fans think the 360 will stop selling altogether.
Unfortunetly for you that is simply not the case. At this point it will be extremely hard for the PS3 to catch up to the 360. At that price point it is not going to move as fast as you think .
