I have an OLED monitor so it's smaller but even on that it's such a difference. I fired up FF7 to check the Pro version because I've not played it since I got the monitor. It looks fantastic

@kingkratos that's all game dependant though. Rebirth has gone from 1080p/60 with muddy visuals to basically 4K/60. That isn't 30% in my opinion

It's not really a 30% bump though in a lot of games. Maybe on first party because they're so polished already.
I'd say the opposite. I've had mine 4 years and want an upgrade. Can't see someone who's not that interested enough in PS to have bought one already, jumping in at 7-800. They'd just get a regular one at half that.
Me too. Picked a male/straight character to avoid things im not interested in. Dont see the fuss? Looks very nice on my PS5. Can't wait to install on the Pro tomorrow
Even if it was equal to a 6800 (which it isn't) that's 350 for the GPU alone. Then the CPU and RAM are 150+. SSD is over 100. That's 600 still with parts missing and an inferior GPU and charging 700. I'll never believe it's priced for profit. I don't think they're really making anything on it.

Worth is subjective. Most people look at the price and will never say a console is worth that. For me personally it is, but I'm the enthusiast gamer that it's aimed at
Thing is they didn't play a single 3rd party PS5 game. That's where the big differences that you'll notice are. 1st party is so polished. 3rd party games wont be microscopic
Eh not so much. I'm on a 28 inch monitor. If I play FF7 Rebirth I'll spot it instantly
