One of the main points of this series was that it made fun of everyone and no one was spared.
Where will the humour be.
Most innovative game I've played this year I'd consider that pushing boundaries. At one point I had to blow into my controller to move something. Might be gimmicky but I don't think another game exists that's done something like that. It's not exactly been a great year for pushing gaming boundaries this year as well
Great game thoroughly enjoyed the platinum
Can't have any game these days without people saying the reviews are paid for. They're not
Consoles haven't really increased in price inflation wise for a long time. The PS3 for instance is much cheaper than the PS5 taking that into account. PS6 will be the same
Tech always evolves and becomes cheaper. Look at what a 4090 can so. Consoles will be at that level before the decade is out
An* Xbox banger. Honestly doubt diehards will be that bothered when they can play it in a few months
Very nice! Slightly higher score than I expected. As much as I'm not a fan of first person cameras I'll definitely be playing this
And just to add. The side quests actually have depth. The emmrich and manfred quest line was heartbreaking with the choice at the end. Because the choice actually mattered (no spoilers). Legit spent 5 minutes not knowing which to pick. One of the best questlines I've played for a while.
Naturally it's an unpopular opinion as it's cool to hate on this game but personally I'm having a great time with it. Loads of content and I'm still not seeing this "awful" writing. It's average. And the voice acting is good. It's certainly a better game than Dragon Age 2 was. It does feel like a generic action rpg at times but I'm enjoying the battles and the upgrade system is good. And a big weapon variety. 7.5-8/10
Just got mine. The cloud streaming update without my PS5 on update swung me over the edge
Good read this
84 meta. Another good JRPG it seems. Been a good year for them. Sakaguchu and music by Uematse. Absolutely picking this one up
"You heard" well considering the horizon remaster was developed by someone outside and didn't impact new game development one bit that seems unlikely.
In fairness 15 was
Can't decide between this and astrobot. Both deserve it for me
Really hope this is good
If developers can't do their pro patch properly they shouldn't release one until it's right. It's just making it look bad and Sony should step in.
It's not that long. If you're not doing every side quest it's a 50 hour game at most. Remember Remake was released to a 100 million PS4 userbase compared to 50m. That's gotta be taken into account as well.
And with that logic every platformer is a Mario clone. Every FPS is a COD clone. Nonsense. Show me a mario game that's done some of the things astrobot has? I solved puzzles using controller haptics. Mario did that?
