It'll be 2027 or 2028, any later and the PS5 is going to be struggling on new engines hard
Given it looks like we will be relying on PSSR more I think a major CPU upgrade would be better and a minor GPU one. That's why frame rates struggle with a cheap ass CPU. And you'd still get great resolution with how good PSSR will be after years of testing
Gone are the days when PS needs to release at the same time as Xbox tbh
It would be so far behind tech and stagnate if that were the case. Base PS5 already struggles sometimes. Couldn't imagine in 5 years
Man I wish the PS portal would come out of Beta. 1000+ games would be great
That'd be true if the series suffered because if it. The amount of content in it is nuts for a yearly game.
It makes you wonder what gaming would look like if it didnt happen. The Playstation killed Sega, would they still be in the console business? Gotta say I did love my Mega Drive and Saturn
With how slow this is they'll be bidding on a chance to make it for them soon.
Funny how the spin offs always score lower. I'll love every second of it though
Wasn't a lot of those sales with discount though? That's why the developer made that famous statement about buying at full price. I'm not even knocking the game, I love it. But there's obviously reasons we didn't get a part 2. And yeah the reviews were utterly ridiculous. It's an 85 game at worst. I think a $10 upgrade is a bargain tbh, no one would work for free.
Yes a minority are. The game didnt do well which is why we didn't get the 2nd. If they were greedy as f it'd be a $50 game with no upgrade like the remasters used to be. At least the option is there, can easy buy a cheap copy of the game then trade it after. This remaster is the only way part 2 happens.
Gaming is probably the only hobby I can think of that's actually fallen behind inflation
Given they're selling record numbers of consoles there's no evidence of that
Not quite the GOTY we've been promised for ages from certain faces here then. 80 certainly isn't a bad score though ill give it a pop when I've finished what I'm on
What? So you can't even sell the game when you're done 🤣 What the hell is that
Dang that's a huge number. 23m in 2024 when nothing important really released. 100m by end of this year if GTA6 releases
It didn't? Actual remasters were always changed for. The last of us remastered was actually full price not a $10 upgrade over 10 years ago. You're misremembering
Literally this. I expected it to be confined to history like the order 1886. Shows they're still bothered by it and hopefully some amends are made in future
@silverhawk it's like you've not seen a switch. Most of their line-up is remakes, remasters and ports and with that Nintendo rehash the same 3 franchises the entire gen themselves? And charge nearly full price for the games several years later. The amount of exclusives for the switch is tiny and it's just about to have a successor. Can't really be putting Nintendo and original together these days
It's probably took weeks and barely amy resources and if it's a success it could literally mean part 2. I'd rather that than the live service shite Bend originally had planned.
They do. Whenever a game is coming to PC day one it's on the trailer. You aren't noticing it because PS don't have to release on other platforms day one like XB do so it looks like a rare thing.
