I don't know why you think PS users think games going to PC is a bad thing. Only means more sales and more sequels. Now what would be bad is them going to Xbox. But thankfully it's just Xbox that wants to give all their games to their rival console.

They have to use player count because it seems like that's where the vast majority of PC players are playing it. Which is logical really as you're paying a quarter of the price.

Let's be honest they don't need marketing. It could release tomorrow and break every record. Going off what they do in the past I can't see it in 2025 though. They've normally released multiple trailers by the release year, but we've had one 15 months ago.
