Have you played it? Forspoken's dialog on the whole is good. Especially the story. Don't judge off YouTube or a demo. Coming from someone who spent 60 hours on it I can definitely say it isn't bad.
The microtransactions were pointless anyway. You could earn the £30 credit purchase in like an hours racing. Who's gonna do that? The only criticisms were from people who hadn't actually played and just saw microtransactions = bad. Which don't get me wrong they were stupid for putting them in. But you gained basically nothing from buying it

It'd never happen. You just wouldn't get the quality games. How much would needed to be paid to the developers that are losing out on money for it being on a service. Ragnarok is over 750 million alone for one game. Who is paying that?
But Hogwarts actually has more to do in its world than RDR2 and I really don't get the world criticism. The castle is outstanding design

And you said 17.5 million to be exact. It wasn't exact as there's been many sales since. At least mine has a possibility of being right. Your statement was wrong. Given it's actually moved even higher in the January chart than the December one it's shifted a fair few copies.

That was 3 months ago, it's not exact if it's November 2022. You can imagine it's done more since then especially given it had its first PS store sale the month after that and being Xmas time. Looking at the December chart it was in the top 10.
I'd be surprised if this isn't the highest selling game of the year. Zelda may have a chance. 80% more sales than Elden Ring first week is crazy considering that games pushed 20 million and was on a gen with far more consoles

@snoeden recycled trash like Horizon and GOW? Sorry what game does what Horizon does? The combat on the first was innovative. Where as Elden Ring was just recycled Dark Souls in an open world. People give Forspoken shit for its graphics but Elden can look even inferior to that and gets a pass. And BOTW is the most overrated game of the 2010s
