I don't see why it matters personally. There's no complaints when a character has a straight relationship and how many gay relationship are there in gaming. I can probably count it on one hand. People deserve representation, it's not really that different from when we didn't have black characters in gaming and they wanted representation and in this game it's a moot point anyway as you can choose to refuse the romance
This thing looks amazing at the price point. I'm absolutely getting one
For new releases the number bought physical is still over 50% I don't think its going anywhere anytime soon
Glad I've just got my 3 years upgrading gold for free locked in 😂
I'm thinking it's because it's been an embarrassment from start to finish more. And if it's decent all power to them. But every preview has it as distinctly average so far and 30 fps is unforgivable with graphics like those.
Forspoken arguably was finished. There was no features to add after release. It just reviewed poorly. Doesn't mean it wasn't finished. And you think no one would be criticising it if it was on PS? Didn't you see the criticism of A Plague Tale because it was at 30? And that wasn't even an FPS.
I can't see it being that high. It's gonna flop if so. Most reports have it quite a way under that. I'd guess 700 for the lower and 900 for the higher model.
I'm really tempted with this if it's at a 'reasonable' price point
Personally yes, but I understand why others won't after there's been barely any games released. I'd just like to take more advantage of my 120hz screen and for a couple of hundred upgrade fee it's a no-brainer to me.
@lifeline I didn't act like I know any better , only one of us two gave assumptions to their income. I'm not assuming I know how much they're making. But you are by saying "they must make a billion profit". All im saying is paying all these all these developers is going to cost a fortune
Why does a billion have to be profit? People don't seem to understand how much paying all these devs to have their game available for 'free' day one costs. Let's take Redfall for example. Let's say if it wasnt on Gamepass it'd sell 3 million (ballpark figure). 3 million x $60 - that's 180 million that isn't getting paid out. That's one game. Now how many games are on Gamepass...so again, why is 1 billion automatically profit?
@rhythmattic I don't understand half your comment but digital is worthless to me on the otherhand. I've seen people crazily banned. Using a top up code bought online off a supposedly safe site. Account banned. All games gone. Some PS4 games are now being taken off the store that means they now don't exist unless you have it physically. In an all digital future that would mean they're never available to play again.
I was awake and I still missed out. The PS4 copies were all gone in like 15 mins
@ghostscholar it's not because of the physical market but MS isn't interested in these types of games that may be part of it. If they wanted it they definitely have the financial might to get it put on. It's niche to them
Thing is when does this happen to the other platforms? Not saying I'm 100% correct here but when have Xbox or Nintendo games been flooded with 0/10 scores for ridiculous reasons?
Ngl I'm very excited for this but kinda hoped there was some new information in this article
Physical media will never die out. It's still selling strongly (more than digital for new games). A lot of countries infrastructure is nowhere near good enough for a 100% digital age and likely won't be for a long long time.
Given the fact I pay £5-10 for every day one release (after selling), physical games definitely aren't overrated. I couldn't imagine if I was stuck paying 70 for each.
@the3faces PS players don't buy games? So why does literally every multi-plat sell higher on PS then?
