This is the... climax of the video which is deemed too adult for broadcast.
Hi Lucifon. Is the UK release of Two Worlds II different from the version of Two Worlds II which was released in mainland Europe last year?
Figures taken from Amazon's top sellers list is only indicative of the previous hour's sales. It does not accurately reflect the overall sells for the month, week or even the day.
In a game like Halo or Call of Duty or Uncharted, I might be peeved if I have to restart a level, but the only emotion is one of mild irritation. I know that If I restart/continue a different way I will progress.
I've played hundreds of games over the years, but Heavy Rain goes down as making history for me because it's the first game to make ME feel fear.
Playing as the woman Madison there are two scenes which genuinely terrified me...
I watched it. Pachter is entertaining but he basically calls Sony an also-ran because of their third place position in the US market, whilst totally ignoring the position of Sony & Microsoft in other territories.
What none of the guests mention is that the USA is not the only market. There is Japan and Asia. And Europe which is arguably becoming one of the largest in the world. Pachter didn't mention who was second and third place in these territories.
Lesson 1: A game is about gameplay. We all know this. But we also understand that a compelling story and characters emotionally connect us to the game on a far deeper level.
How many times have you read a review complaining about stereotypical macho characters lacking depth?
I bought the first Uncharted 1 and loved it for its pure and unpretentious adventure/platform gameplay (and I love that great musical score.)
Uncharted 2 developed that g...
It's very nice for this chap to 'report' this, but the article doesn't hold any water unless he quotes a source. He can't just say 'Its been reported that hackers...' Even for amateur bloggers, facts are important.
See above.
E3 2012 will see the next Nintendo & Xbox announced.
* They will both go on sale in 2013.
* They will both take advantage of glasses-less 3D
* The new Xbox will come complete with Kinect 2 to appeal more to a family audience.
* The new Nintendo will come complete with a cock stimulation add-on.
I'm all for top quality exclusives, but this one is not something to boast about. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi have been available on Xbox LIVE & PSN since last year, and whilst I love the originals these ports are nothing to write home about. I played the demos and Sonic had a 4x3 box screen, and Crazy Taxi lost most of that music and licensing that would have made it a nostalgic trip for me.
Sega not mentioning the word 'exclusive' probably means exclusive...
I'm looking at the images on my phone, they look really good but I can't tell if it's in-game graphics or development artwork!
@Elven6.
Dude. Please read my full comment I was commenting more on Future's bad business.
Official PlayStation Magazine UK have said in their most recent issue that they had a big Tomb Raider feature but had to pull it because of an American mag's deal.
Basically Game Informer have got a great exclusive and don't mind other websites showing pics as long as they credit them, which I guess is fair enough.
But Future publishing has so many websites in the UK and the USA that have been promoting the competition's, Game Informer's, exc...
There was a time when you only had to beat a game and you would be given all the alternative costumes and stuff.
Now it's all about giving gamers the same product, but chopping it into little pieces to make them pay for it.
Take any fighting game and people want costume changes for their characters. Capcom can't say they were surprised by this 'demand.' They should have just included them on the 360 DVD and the PS3 blu-ray. God knows they tak...
I think NowGamer is scraping the barrel a little bit. The CoD Black Ops DLC is coming out on 360 in Feb, and on PC & PS3 1 month later. If you are a CoD fan then it probably stinks to wait an extra month, but its still the same content. But in no way is that comparable to an EXCLUSIVE full game.
@Bathyj your tech comments are correct. Just to clarify;
When the 360 plays original Xbox games it can upscale them to 720p and add some anti-aliasing effects. This means they look a little better then they do when played on an Xbox 1!
However this won't look the same as a HD remake which will have native 720p support, and likely have new graphical textures, effects and so on.
Think of a dvd movie that has been upscaled. Sure it does look...
Director's can't just take any actor, buff him out, and stick him in a video game adaptation and hope it will work.
Look what happen with the Prince of Persia movie. Jake Gyllenhal is lacking in charisma and masculinity and women certainly don't idolise him. Sure it was quite successful, but this was despite the actor, not because of him.
Casting is everything.
That's most likely correct.
Tomb Raider Anniversary on Xbox 360 was a 'reimagining' of the first game. Much of is the same, eg the iconic T-Rex moment, but with little extra flourishes.
Three games for the price of one. I'm happy to give these a try in preparation for the new Tomb Raider.
I think remasters are a great idea as it gives people the chance to replay classics but with fresh lick of paint. If you don't want them don't buy them.
The God of War collection was fantastic quality. I haven't played the Prince of Persia games, but I am so looking forward to Ico / Shadow.
Thank you Oldman100! I just saw that for the first time this morning. It's horrendous but brilliant. I hate it but I'm humming it.
