I have an expensive Turtle Beach headset so was disappointed that Microsoft said it would not be compatible with the Xbox One because they are now using a propriety port. So todays news is a good way to appease longtime 360 owners.

But the article is bad because it is not neutral and says that people's concerns about the propriety headsets was based on rumors, this is not true. IT'S ONLY BECAUSE OF THE PUBLIC BACKLASH THAT MICROSOFT ARE FIXING THIS.

Not essential but I'd love to try it.

I haven't played the new DmC game so I don't know if it in anyway explains the link to the original series. However people who buy comics will have seen that there are multiple versions of their favourite hero in the same continuity e.g. Batman from Earth 1, Earth 2 etc and then all the other different interpretations of Batman e.g. as Sherlock Holmes type detective in London.

I totally understand if there are gamers who see their number 1 character reinterpreted, but...

That seems like a fake. Unless there is a surprise at E3.

Of course it will be Star Wars related, but I miss the days when LucasArts use to make such classics in other genres. A new graphic adventure would be wonderful, Heavy Rain showed that there is still a place for them. But its a genre that isn't so easily marketable.

I'd love to see an Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis HD, or Curse of Monkey Island HD.

You get to be working class, middle class or upper class. Although I'm not happy with this division of society based on socio-economic background.

Some may criticise these fans for taking a game too seriously, but you know what? That's $32,000 for sick kids.

The journalists reviews are outstanding. The user reviews are terrible, probably written by people who have never played the game. However there is one common denominator with the user reviews and that is that they are all protesting against Day 1 DLC. Maybe publishers will learn from this?

The good thing is Metacritic user reviews don't affect sales.

I'd love a Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic III.

The first one is a phenomenal RPG for making the Star Wars universe so real and exciting. I even have a lot of love for II. I've heard Bioware say the MMO is part III - but it isn't. I bet it is a fantastic game but with work and family I just don't have the time to commit to an MMO.

A single player SW: Knights of the Old Republic III would just be a phenomenal way to go back to that univ...

GTA 3
GTA Vice CIty
GTA San Andreas

The gameplay is still rock solid but I'd love to play all three with updated HD graphics and trophies/ achievements.

Each time he thought the Wii HD would be announced - it wasn't. Now it has been announced (the Wii U) it doesn't mean he is right. The issue is not whether Nintendo would release another home console (because its logical that they would) but WHEN.

Let me tell you another of Pachter's predictions. Microsoft and Sony will both release a new home console...

What a cheap way to scrounge hits by misleading N4G readers with a statement that a game has been announced, 'Sony announce God do War IV' and then using a final word, 'already,' to excuse yourself from wrong doing. I certainly won't click their link.

Let me suggest some future article titles from this tqcast blog:-

* Epic announce Gears of War 4, I hope.
* Microsoft announce Halo 5, fingers crossed.
* Sony announce Killzon...

Ken is 'saddened' by the discussion of the big breast HE put in the game! Ha ha! If he doesn't think it's relevant he could always change them for smaller ones. But he doesn't, why do you think that is?

It used to be one of the sites I visited daily. However the redesign was horrendous. Comically bad because it made it hard to read, and hard to find articles. The fact that they now offer readers a choice on how to view it shows they are not sure what is best.

Mostly bias, and poor fact checking but with occasionally great in depth pieces. But they currently have a 'feature' comment on whether they like a game or not without having played it.

I hope ...

How did OPM UK write this article when their game is so laggy? Don't get me wrong, I'm genuinely glad they highlighted the bugs in the PS3 game, when other websites said nothing. Kudos to them for that. I'm guessing Skyrim isn't borked for everyone on the OPM team.

IGN make a great point. They received PC and 360 copies for review but no PS3 copy. Other multi format websites didn't receive PS3 copies either. Bethesda should answer why.

Hardly an impartial website. Watch gametrailers review of the year for more balanced discussion.

Last year I wouldve rated Xbox top because of the successful launch Kinect. But this year there was Gears 3 and Forza but no other AAA exclusives. Big sales of console in the USA.

Sony had loads of exclusives spread throughout the year, and became number 1 sales in the world excluding USA and the UK, but they also had the PSN hack which took ps3 online gaming offl...

Sure Sony would prefer to keep Insmniac exclusive, but they were not a grandstand top- tier company. I really enjoyed Resistance 1 but found 2 linear and boring so I haven't even tried 3 yet.

But what I do know is that Bungie is regarded as a AAA studio. So Sony lose Insomniac but get Bungie games on their system .

They went from cutting edge games that were getting great reviews and sales, to producing shitty avatars and bundled Kinect sports games for the 360.

Back in the 60s a dumb US businessman was tricked into 'buying' London Bridge by an expert con-man. In 2002 the charismatic head of Nintendo sold Rare to Microsoft. However these two sales are not the same.

When Nintendo sold Rare it was a great company, but it was the business decisions Microsoft made t...
