My level of anticipation for this game has just skyrocketed after listening to tic interview with Ken Lob. The premise of the games and level of confidence Ken has in it makes me think this could be something very special.
If anyone's looking for an Xbox gamers opinion on this (and there probably isn't) well here's mine anyway.
That is one fat list no question and I can't see Xbox getting to close to it as far as pure numbers go, however I don't see a great amount as far as quality goes. Sure N,D will do a great job of uncharted and blood bourn looks cool, but what else is there to get exited about? Seems like allot of smaller games and obscure Japanese stuff to me.
Powerful? In comparison to what the 360 and ps3.
So I guess we can expect allot more troll comments for you until the order 1886 comes out. And then we'll hear from you again the following day after you've returned it.
A little late to the party with this review, can't argue with the verdict though it's a fantastic and original new i,p.
Microsoft have been no a hiring spree over the last few years, and they know how to build a great developer (343 a perfect example) I have allot of confidence that Rare is now great studio. I think we will see a new banjo game and hopefully a new I,p.
Oh man that was funny.
Yeah fair call, I can understand discontent from gamers already invested in a franchise going to the opposite platform.
I'll be honest I only own an xbox one, and have no regrets not having a ps4 right now. However I have no problem with playstation getting sf5, good for them. I also have no problem with third party games going exclusive to either platform. I actually like the idea of Microsoft and Sony pushing hard to get us great exclusive content. However I understand many won't agree with this.
I definitely see 2015 as a land mark year for x1. Halo 5 will be unbelievable (you just need to play the beta to know this) plus a killer lineup of other exclusives. E3 will be massive for xbox with just what we can guess they will show, and I also expect some other big surprises, a big year ahead for xbox indeed.
There will be so many gamers from the PlayStation side that will refuse to accept that constant articles and rumours about the Xbox One's unique architecture and constant SDK updates from Microsoft will bring nothing positive to the Xbox. Anyone with a little common sense should be able to see that just maybe this is all evidence that Microsoft actually planned for the future when designing the Xbox one. And designed it to fully utilize DX12 and gain all it's huge benefits to hardware...
Many gamers believe, my self included that there is allot more to the Xbox one than we know. This is just more evidence to support that.
No doubt PS4 has allot of exclusive games next year, it's the number of quality exclusives that I have a problem with. Uncharted and possibly Blood Bourne are the only games that look good in my opinion.
Sony may be leading by the end of the year, it's got nothing to do with games thou. However Xbox will have closed the gap considerably. And Pacter described Sony's exclusive line up as phenomenal what the f**k is he smoking other than Uncharted what is there?
Yeah what is even the point in testing a BETA anyway, this is pure click bate.
Yet again Sony fans bring up resolution, well I guess when you have nothing positive on your side to bring to a conversation you have to resort to an old irrelevant argument.
Console game development has always been about efficiency and Microsoft are masters at software/middleware DX12 is coming along with tiled resources etc and Xbox was designed from the ground up for it, imho there is no question Xbox one will surpassed ps4 in what it can achieve.
More good news for Xbox owners. With the Xbox's highly efficient architecture and constant SDK updates how long will it be until it passes ps4 in processing power?
Man it's great to be an Xbox gamer right now. Just checked the net after some epic halo 5 matches and yet more great new for Xbox owners.
This is some very cool stuff, with dual steams though the gpu one for graphics and one for compute both controlled by two separate command processes each. This should provide great efficiency on the gpu. I also really like the comment "the rules have changed the sky is the limit" this is not some corporate marketing B.S this is from Microsoft direct to developers. So unless this is faked this speaks volumes. Looks like there's allot more to come from Xbox One.
