Great review!
Sony, pay close attention... Do it ONCE and do it RIGHT! Make the OLED screens, give us the wider field of view, make the frame rate as high as possible. I would much rather pay $399 for a superior piece of kit than $299 and be stuck with what might have been...
I doubt this 3D will give you the kind of eye strain that most 3D tv' give you. From what I understand, you will be getting 2 totally separate images i each eye and not the active shudder of the 3D glasses which gives most people headaches. However, I would not rule out the need for a barf bag. Small price to pay!
This will be great for gaming; especially driving and flight sims. Sony already makes cameras for movie and tv production. I could see them making a camera that is compatable with the VR headset for sporting events. Imagine being able to pick a virtual seat at the world series. I really hope developers from every sector get behind this.
MLB in VR... could be amazing.
Now we know why they put so much detail into Drive Club. Hopefully we will be able to do car walk arounds, inside and out. I'm also hoping that the VR sets will work with the move. One thing the OR is missing is the ability to see you hands in VR space. The move is the easy fix for this. Battlefield 4 with VR and move.... INSANE!
I don't see any difference.
The only trick I want to see is a $100 drop in price.
"BF4 is by far a better game..." By a lot. Banning innocent people from an already dated and inferior game... not cool.
Are those shadows i see?
Well deserved. Best gaming experience I have ever had. The funny thing is I hated the first 30 minutes of the game. Totally torn on whether or not they should make part 2...

Desperate? See for yourself...
I just checked Target, Best Buy, Kmart and Sears. They all have the Xbox 1 in stock if anyone is having trouble finding one. The PS4 is out of stock everywhere except for Amazon so if you want one hurry! Might pull the trigger on an XB1...
Well first I have to get an XB1; unless I get the 360 version and I have seen zero info on that.
The more I see it, the more appeal it has. Maybe,,, Juuuust maybe.
IM on now.
This could be a very significant advantage over the OR VR device. Keeping the fingers crossed!
On another note, since Drive Club was first announced, has been very upfront about the insane level of detail in the game; even going so far as to talk about the types of screws used. I never really understood why this level of detail would matter but now with the news of the VR headset, I totally understand why they would go through such great lengths with regard to detail.
The one thing missing with VR tech is the ability to see your hands when you are playing. The move controller could easily solve this problem. I'm hoping they considered this...
My curiosity lies in the fact that me as well as most of the PS4 owners I know are only mildly interested in titanfall. I don't own an XBone yet, but when I do finally get one I doubt that I ever get Titanfall. My guess it that it probably would be out selling the PS4 version per capita.
now thats a good deal! Too bad I don't shop at Walmart.
