@nifonge I totally agree. Even if they were both $399 the PS4 would still be the better value. how someone could disagree with facts boggles the mind.
I don't see that big of a difference. I hope they take notes from NBA2k14 and add some emotions to the faces. Either way, this game is a must have for the PS4.
I don't own and XB1 but I did have the chance to play Titanfall today. While it is not what I would consider a visual marvel, it is a lot of fun and bundled with he XB1 does seem like it should have helped sales. I think Xbox is still in damage control from E3. I am slightly more inclined to pick up and XB1 now
It is starting to get a little crazy. On the other hand, its not like any of these people are going to stop making great games. A great game is a great game. Whether its made by ND, Riot games, PS$, or XB1 its doesnt really matter that much to me. Also, with the success they have had, I'm sure their careers are far from over.
Awesomenauts is AWESOME! Loads of mindless fun.
Project Cars + Morpheus.... Now I just need to figure out which Thrustaster wheel and playseat to get!
A cycle is one thing. Saying they won't last is another. As long as there are individuals and small teams of passionate and creative game developers, there will be indie games. That doesn't mean they will stay small (GTA is technically an indie game).
Sooooo.... fun cheap games made by small studios won't last? Since when was having fun a fad?

Killzone was just completed several months ago. Drive Club is completed or very near completion. Several projects were scrapped.
Very few people remain at one studio longer than 5 years. Just look at some of the resume's of some of the best people in the industry. They have worked vast spectrum of companies and studios. Needs changes, the industry is constantly in a state of flux.
Again, Sony Santa Monica JUST "layed off" a lot of people, and yet ...
I don't know why this is news. These studios hire people to work on specific projects. When those projects are completed and there is no pending project, or the next project is in it's early stages of development, people get let go. On any given day you can search these websites HR depts and they will be "NOW HIRING". Case in point:

Motion sickness usually come when the VR is lagging being your head movements. Headaches and eyestrain are often a result of the active shutters in the 3d glasses. The Sony VR is said to be tracking very well and there are no active shutters.
great game! Visually much more than I was expecting. If you have a PS4 be sure to download this game.
Which begs the question, why would the same outlet review the game a second time...
What are you basing your thought on? Here is what one of the Sony R&D people had to say on this vey subject:
Eurogamer: You've got very similar specs to Oculus. One big differentiation is the field of view. How did you come to that decision?
Anton Mikhailov: Is the difference diagonal or horizontal? That's the key there - diagonal is basically 1.4 times the horizontal. Ours is 90 degrees horizontal. If you do that calculation diagonal it's ove...
AC4, NBA2K14, Infamous Second Son etc... all @ 1080p.
90 degree vs 100 degree field of view measurements are not entirely accurate. As it stands, there is no standard method of measuring VR field of view since there are several factors that effect it. I'm pretty sure that if the Sony VR field of view were measured the same way the OR's is, there would not be a 10 degree difference.
I for one wish that the XB1 was at least as good as the PS4 in terms of raw power/performance and matched it in price. The simple fact that it isn't and cost $100 more to get in my living room is just plain dumb.
I want an XB1 but there is no way that I can justify buying one without a killer app, or at least price/performance parity. As it stands, the XB1 is lacking in all 3 departments.
The problem with XB1 supporters at this point is that they honestly...
OLED and 100-120 degree field of vision please! Do it once... Do it right!
