I think they've actually stated that the ps3 was the lead development console.
they arent exactly even relevant pictures. just random screen caps from the trailer.
thats pretty damn impressive. sounds like real world real time distance rendering. no more eternal distance smog :)
I wonder why they didn't do it properly. Shouldn't be too hard I would think.
What if kotaku didn't write stupid articles?
If they paired it with realistic cop rules like not chasing you in a way thats dangerous to the public it would balance out. Police aren't able to chase over a certain speed usually.
His whole career has been going downhill since the first black and white. He started off super innovative and has been cutting it back increasingly for broader appeal.
The thing is though he was working for/with microsoft that whole time and if they are known for anything it's trying to coerce every creative vision they can get their hands on into a mass appeal bandwagon. So whether he stopped having good ideas, or just got caught rolling around in the fabulous microsoft...
What I meant by not bad is that it would require a tremendous amount of cpu and gpu power from the ps4 because it looks likely that they are abandoning the cell architecture. Though the amd cpu gpu fusion tech they dev kits apparently use sounds interesting. It only might work if they use another full gpu with it. In any case it would only be a close bet for ps3 emulation and would require quite a bit of back end work from sony.
The ps4 should by all rights be able to software emulate an entire ps2. The ps3 almost can, and any passable four year old pc can so the ps4 should.
Ps3 emulation may be a bit trickier but it's still something i want. Not in an extra box either. If thats the case I may as well keep my ps3.
With the size of it they should have been able to stick any size battery into it that they wanted. They probably went with something relatively small and cheap though.
Don't worry about that at all. It's totally not, I wont spoil anything other than to say it wont be that in any way and will change how you look at modern military shooters and possibly war in general. Amazing game.
From the reviews I've read, and gameplay I've watched it sounds like a solid game. Seems a lot of reviewers from other sites were expecting it to revolutionize the kart racing genre.
If your rating it on the terms of a LBP styled kart racing game then it sounds like it's done exactly that.
I'll probably pick it up, not at 59.99 mind. I'll wait until it comes down to 39.99. (games should be given dollar amounts for review scores I think, an...
if a console only relies on third party support then it has very little to differentiate it from its competition. Thats how things work. Exclusive games are there to make one console more appealing than another, without exclusives there's no point in having said console.
Sure third party multi platform games are a large and important part of the games industry but you can't say they show that microsoft is supporting core gaming on their console. All it shows is that ...
yeah they could really bring that to perfection in a sequel. The first was a great game with some rough edges. I have this suspicion that planetside 2 is the closest thing to a MAG sequel thats in the works presently though. And thats on pc, but it is published by soe.
third party games are not part of this discussion as they are available elsewhere and are not exclusive to the system in question. Your argument is weak.
if it bothers people so much they should just take sniper rifles out of the game and limit guns to reflex scopes.
If you give someone a sniper rifle chances are (if their not quick scoping) that they will find a high place in the corner of the map with a good fov and snipe people.
Also since the maps are pretty small it gives snipers an advantage over how the are in games with really big maps.
Do you only put the "Rated E For Everyone" line at the end of your posts when your talking about nintendo?
Ohhh I would totally love that. I miss that game. I believe it had a sequel that was pretty good as well (checking now) yup. I remember playing both games, the second was definitely a bit more polished but both were lots of fun in their own way.
I keep expecting to see a god of war game where kratos has traveled to modern day/future and lays waste to robots, genetically engineered things, and giant at computers.
They could do well with mega man by taking it the way of the metroid prime trilogy. Or it could do well set up like a more platform oriented ratchet and clank type game. It's either of those or they leave it 2d side scrolling.
Whats most likely is 2d and one of the others.
