I nejoyed this article. I'm really excited about this game, especially since I'll be building a gaming PC soon. Skyrim looks beautiful from the footage we've seen so far, and that's on the 360! I can't imagine what it will look like on an awesome PC with all the hi-res texture mods.

That certainly isn't true. Look at Skyward Sword, it's a unique art style, somewhere between WW and TP, so they haven't quite given up on experimentation yet.
As for me, I never played wind waker, as I never had much interest in the art style or gameplay mechanics. In fact, I haven't finished a Zelda game since Ocarina of Time. I hope Skyward Sword can change that.

In all seriousness, though, looks cool for all the cricket fans out there. Not sure how it translates into a video game, as I am indeed American, and consequently know little about the sport.

@Alos88, I may have worded that wrongly, I was taught that watching gratuitous violence is not a good thing. It may not cause people to go out and become mass murderers, but it surely can't be good for them. For example, I would never let a ten year old play Mortal Kombat, because showing a ten year old something like that can shape their minds to think that something like that is normal, especially at an age of development. @Sabian187, just to clarify, OnLive doesn't have a required monthly subscription. The service itself is free. They have an optional subscription where you get to play all the slightly older games on the service for a monthly fee.
The thing is, what happens when parents cease to be parents? people don't understand what "parenting" means these days, they don't realize that it's not just an option to understand what's happening in today's world, they HAVE to understand, because that is the world that their children live in and that's the world that they need to be guided through. Although there are better deals than this TV, I don't think that their goal was to sell millions of these. I think that Sony it accomplishing what they intended to accomplish: get people interested in 3DTV's, and lower the perceived entry cost of 3D. Without this TV they announced at E3, 3D would still seem like something I'd have to put at least $1000 into. Now I know there are better deal, and that 3D as not as expensive as once thought. News outlets should not talk avout video games unless they are sure that they know what they're talking about. My local news channel showed a picture of the Wii's classic controller with a screen on top of it and called it the Wii-2 when the Wii-U was announced.

Haha, it's funny how he can make people think that, considering he doesn't know how to play video games. I do appreciate that he does kind of bring more attention to the bigger games that soccer mom s and people that usually watch late night shows would probably never see.
I've been watching his video game week thing (loved the intro music) and they demoed Battlefield 3, MW3, Uncharted 3, and nobody really cared. They bring out Legend of Zelda, the crowd freaks. That's the power that Nintendo's franchises have. They're the only reason I even look at Nintendo anymore. Hopefully the Wii U can put out some awesome first party games.

GOURDS CONFIRMED!!!! I used to hate this game, but now I'm pre-ordering. I simply DO NOT play games that do not have gourds. It's immoral, in my opinion.
