stylistically, i'd easily pick killzone over crysis. i like how unique and moody the levels i've seen look. The battle in the trailer looks like it's taking place in a steampunk cityscape.
however nothing will get close graphically to crysis on consoles for a while.
saying "360's crysis killer" is dumb, and will start a dumb flame war.
the version of the game being shown is the pc version.
there'll be hell in tokyo when mgs4 and ff13,(especially ff) gets released....

8.5-9.0 makes the most sense to me given all thats been written about this.
i find it very frustrating that reviwewers will mark up a game over another and ignore the bugs and downright dire blemishes(poor facial work, reptitive combat, recycled locales lack of deep oldskool bioware character stats and spells customization), but then mark down a game probably because it's not "EPIC" ugh.
by the sounds of it this game is an evolution from kotor, not a revolut...

I have a feeling sony could be financing (FFXIII's and vermillion) behind closed doors. It make perfect sense.

i just remembered an interview with nomura in it.
when he says "full specifications" he doesnt mean "full power", he's talking about using blu ray + hd disk. That makese more sense if you think about it.
He means key specs that anyone can tell distinguish the ps3 from it's console competitors; blu ray and built in hd disk. Its arguable whether or not graphically there's a gulf of difference between the ps3 and 360. i think the ps3 in 08 and 09 onwar...

a next gen rival schools is really necessary. there's far too many serious games out there.
in an interview very early on the devs mentioned something along the lines of "the white engine will never be "finished" per se the technology behind it will get updated and used for different purposes(i.e. last remnant multiplat). THe build of the white engine that's being used for FFXIII and FFXIIIversus is ps3 specific",

not surprised by the large 360 cut of the sales. Bigger install base tends to mean better software pick up. then again tbh ps3 users should be snapping this game up, i could list the number of great ps3 titles on one hand whearas the 360 has a larger number of games that'd please more people...for now

it's been a lot easier to kick the ps3 while its been on the floor right now.
sony made it easy with that hefty price tag, denying a lot of devs the devs kits in time/plus making the kits expensive.
however 08 is just round the corner. with it comes mgs4, gran turismo, little big planet, ffxiii, killzone, heavy rain, white knight story, team ico goodness, getaway, eight days, war devil
beyond that, god of war, resistance 2, jak and daxter and a rockstar ga...
I don't know if you know that much about gamespot. but Mass effect getting 8.5 is pretty heavy indeed. That's underneath Assassin's cred.
