The article is about North American sales only - YES?
The comments are about the NPD sales data concerning North America only - YES?
Post the 'complete' picture. Post the world-wide sales figures for games covering May 2009... then people can talk about those figures - OK?
Says you... but not according to Kojima:
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
Hideo Kojima says the only reason that Metal Gear Solid 4 is debuting on PlayStation 3 is that he likes to be first with everything, and that the last year's focus on MGS3 meant Kojima Productions didn't have any time to get to grips with Xbox 360. Actually, he says, it could quite happily work on Microsoft's system. ...
LOL... look at them disagreeing with what's been posted - even when the link is right in their face - LOL!
Hmmm... funny that HHG - a Sony cough-supporter-cough.... doesn't get more support on this site.
You'd think he'd be crowned king here - heh.

Speaking to videogaming247 at the Sierra Spring Break 08 in Mallorca last week, Terminal Reality president Mark Randel admitted that Ghostbusters on PS3 has been held back by the fact will also release on 360, saying that the game would have double the amount of objects on...
Wasn't the game bundled with the Wii in North America and some other regions too... yet you're comparing it to a game that was sold mostly as a stand alone retail game?
Look at the freaking top 20, son.
There are six Xbox 360 games in that list vs three PS3 games.
Twice as many install base doesn't mean twice as many sales of multiplatform games.
You look at the demographics that make up the install base/s
They are good aren't they.
Get the word out far in advance... then let stuff eek out as the technology/project gets closer to release, and then blast it out onto the market. Those casual gamers --> and possibly hardcore gamers will have ample time to see what's in store by that time - and if Microsoft has done it right... boom - big sales.
In an interview published by the Japanese magazine, Dengeki: PlayStation, Hideo Kojima explained why he took the role of game designer on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, despite his previous claims that he would play a smaller role in the development of Metal Gear games after Metal Gear Solid 4.
Kojima - “At first, I was just going to create the overall guidelines and concepts for the project, and leave it in the hands my excellent staff. I was going to have a hand in the project...
Funny thing... the faker WAS right.
Sony announced - Agent, a brand new IP for Rockstar at E3 didn't they?
LOL -- just go READ the article will you.
It's right in there. (Kojima) He said: “I’ll be working more deeply on the project then a normal producer.”
Now what does that mean?
“I’ll be working more deeply on the project then a normal producer.”

OK... mr. disagree - then I'll put the article in your face...

--> What it will require though,is a large open space with nothing blocking your feet so you can accelerate and decelerate without a problem.
You're going to use more 'space' with every new motion sensing device that is coming out for the Wii, PS3 and 360.
I'm not saying as much space as the Natal demo indicates... but more than before. You can no longer just flick your Wiimote with the motion plus add-on, and you can't just tilt your PS3 motion controller. When y...

Looks like he's going to get his hands wet in MGS: Rising - after all eh?
---
--> Well Kojima produced Zone of the Enders as well and there's many fans of that game. So anyone not giving MGS Rising a chance just because Kojima is tagged as the producer is BS, you know the game is gonna be better than decent at least.
The thing was... that many at this site kep...
--> What about free online...
Going online with the Xbox 360 is free. Playing online multiplayer is what one really pays for, with the added Xbox Live features similar to what the $20 dollar Qore service provides to the PSN feature on the PS3.
--> Or blue tooth
You don't need bluetooth to connect online though, do you?
--> or True HD movies..
Apparently 1080p HD Movies are coming to some Xbox 360 regions.

A Microsoft spokesperson responded to us and said, "At the time of those statements, the overall scope of Halo 3: ODST was not yet finalized, and since then the project has grown increasingly more ambitious. We believe this standalone experience is much more than just an expansion. Halo 3: ODST provides a new campaign from the point of view of an entirely new character. Combine that with three new multiplayer maps, the entirely new cooperative mode called Firefight, and the complete Halo...
-Blutooth is a great feature; a good example of the functionality would be how you can use any blutooth headset you own with the PS3 without needing to resort to something cheap that plugs into your controller.
I never stated it wasn't a great feature. READ what was said and what I replied. It's a fact that you do not require bluetooth on the Xbox 360 to connect online - YES?
