Haha...
Not at all... I've even quoted what I was commenting to, and what I was commenting about... you just have to learn how to read.
--> The fact is that sales don't make a game more fun, so in that sense they don't matter.
I never stated that sales make any game more fun though - LOL.

Strange how sales or review articles seems to get so many posts on this site when so often people say neither matter.
If reviews don't matter then why does my copy of Killzone 2 have...
"5 out of 5 stars" - PlayStation: The Official Magazine - on the cover?
I thought SALES don't matter?
I thought REVIEWS don't matter?
Strange then - how articles about sales or reviews always seem to get so many post comments.
Strange then - how my copy of Killzone 2, for example... has "5 out of 5 stars" - PlayStation: The Official Magazine on the cover.
Now why would Sony include that if not for marketing = sales?

Where is Sony going with its motion controller?
The point Kaz was making is that the core audience isn't ignored. I doubt that either Microsoft or Sony are going to ignore their core demographic, and the 3rd party Publishers/Developers, that aren't into funding/making casual games certainly won't stop making their games.
No matter if the 'core gaming audience' moves on... Nintendo will always have the kids... just like Disney.
Really? Compared to what?
Not compared to new IPs released on other consoles like the 360.
Halo?
Gears of War?
Mass Effect? The marketing manager of BioWare Jarrett Lee has commented that sales of the game are in fact considerably better than the first week sales estimates of 192,993 that VGChartz churned out.
Bioshock sales were more than 400k in its first week. (360/PC)
Oh really?
Please explain Halo sales...
Gears of War sales...
Bioshock sales...
Mass Effect sales... for starters then.

---> I dont think many people buy 2 games per month, so im guessing most PS3 owners had to choose between ufc and infamous and some chose infamous and most chose UFC. Add those 2 together and you get roughly the same as UFC 360 numbers.

If you don’t have time to read over the whole thing, here’s the summary version - Sony lost $1.035 billion this year. The gaming division lost $612 million this year, but this is less than half of what they lost last year, so the division is improving financially. PS3 hardware sales are up, PSP hardware sale...

The Orange Box - PS3
Publisher = EA - not Valve.
Game Studio that handled the PS3 port = EA London - not Valve.
Not only can a whole lot of Japanese understand English, but... there are non-Japanese people living in Japan as well, that speak and understand English.
Japan doesn't consist solely of native Japanese people you know.
Errrr... wasn't the point of the orange jumpsuits to look like part of a racing team?
Translate this then...
Kaz Hirai, CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment is quoted from the February 2009 Official PlayStation Magazine as stating this...
QUOTE: "We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that (developers) want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is, what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years? So it's a kind of--I wouldn't say...
To possibly make FF XIII region free so Japanese Xbox 360 owners can import the release and enjoy the game too... no class?
It could indicate that the 360 version will be region free...

LOL... 'nuff said!
The multiplatform game, PS3 version of Prototype currently has a higher metacritic score than the PS3 exclusive InFAMOUS too...
Actually - at 01:44 - He says:
"... hands down.. yeah, the people's response has been, we've got the biggest and best games and most exclusives... "
Aaron Greenberg isn't saying it personally... he said --> " the people's response has been... "
No they shouldn't should they... but read this thread for starters - LOL
--> Of course Sony (and every other company) cares about sales. That's how they make money, which is a companies goal. Marketing (ie: putting reviews on the cover of a game) is how companies can increase sales.
Yet you've never ever read the comments posted in this site stating that sales don't matter?
