Modern Q&A is a joke. These developers don't take the time to test games properly and we get abominations such as poorly optimised PC ports and similar experiences on console games. The obsession with releasing a game in November is killing the industry with terrible rushed products.
If there wasn't a glitch in the first place they wouldn't be banned. Users get banned for inappropriate language and cheating in competitive multiplayer, not duplicating items.
Hah... Take the money of people that bought the game and then ban them for exploiting a glitch that the developers left in the game. ESO doesn't sound very enticing to me.
Charging the user for both a subscription AND the game itself is ridiculous and I can't think of any other publishers that would try such a thing. If this doesn't go free-to-play by the end of 2014 I will be very surprised.
Games like Super Mario Galaxy and The Last of Us come up once in a blue moon. Granted some franchises are formulaic but certain games such as Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed IV entered new territory and have garnered a lot of critical acclaim. It all depends on whether a franchise has become formulaic or whether new things are being tried on a regular basis
Think of all the good games recently: Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, Dishonored, Skyrim... whats the connection, multi-platform! The age of 'must-own' game exclusives has changed.
Because some films don't get remade for 10-20 years. Granted game tech changes rapidly but still, 5-10 years isn't enough of a wait for some
Quad Core and GTX 650 should be fine I'd imagine. I can tank pretty much any PC game that's on the market at the moment
Ubisoft have really messed up their relationship with Nintendo. They were all friendly during the Rayman Rabbits and Just Dance era on Wii but ever since then it has been downhill. Case in point, Assassins Creed III comes with DLC. Assassins Creed IV Black Flag was delayed for Europe and contains no DLC whatsoever.
They didn't bother altering matchmaking for a smaller community so multiplayer on games like Splinter Cell Blacklist are pointless since you never reach the mi...
Ghosts isn't as bad as people say. Campaign in Modern Warfare games was always a bit shoddy but the Multiplayer and Extinction modes make up for that. Black Ops 2 was brilliant, it's just that Ghosts didn't exceed that quality.
Still, CoD needs a fresh pair of eyes and most of all they need more development time.
Wonder why there's no thought of a PC version (or even Wii U)
They're so desperate to try and win over the Sony and Nintendo fans in the United Kingdom but I really don't think this is going to happen. If 360 owners have already switched to PS4 or PC then this will be a losing battle. All they can hope to do is win over those who are confused.
Avoiding the PC version like the plague. Wii U here I come
It doesn't need it. You don't have to be particularly loquacious to say things like "Haha I got a blue shell" and "Nooooooooooo"
Nintendo always market Mario Kart the most of any game, you can bet people will be bombarded with adverts
I have a PC and Wii U. I enjoy multi-format titles and the exclusives for PS4/XOne have not been enough to tempt me, plus the lack of backwards compatibility ruins any plans to play Last of Us or Gears of War.
The 3DS has a stronger library. The Vita has the edge with power and indie ports but has notably less must-have titles
Too much shovelware on Steam now, take Guise of the Wolf for one example
If it was just about money then there would be a 360 version, but there isn't. The time is almost upon us where developers say farewell to last gen.
The thing is that Sony captivated the UK market with their PS products. Many publishers and developers have rich histories with the Playstation brand. That isn't to say Xbox didn't have their moment in the sun with Halo, Gears of War and the other franchises they were famous for.
While the 360 was chosen by many gamers due to Wii's weak hardware and PS3's expensive price point, many gamers ended up turning away due to 360 hardware failures, bad indie marketing...
I think Nintendo need to listen to these criticisms and be sure to address them in future games. Other publishers have done worse things in the past though
